Your Construction Manager Elliott threw a ugly monkey wrench into an otherwise smooth closing/final walk-through in my new home. Not a nice guy. Sarcastic's the word. Also, due to a 6 week delay in completing the house because of a lack of utility connections, I continued to rack up hotel lodging expenses amounting to over $4k of which I was compensated only $2.5k! 😒

The speed of the build; the quality of the work; the building site manager’s attention to detail (Bentley made a particularly positive impression with his competence and thoroughness).

Overall a very good experience. No major issues or concerns.

There are issues with quality, things weren't completed, drywall coming through the walls, and ceiling isn't straight due to the drywall. Paint is cheap and I am having to repaint even the baseboards because the paints chips since it's not not real wood.

What I loved the most about my experience was the one-on-one attention I received from the SDH staff. I first visited the Austell home sight in January of 2025. I met Khalilah Harrington and from that day through closing (even beyond!) I felt like I was the center of attention. She kept me informed, updated and in the loop of everything that was going on as my home was being built. She helped me make design decisions and gave her honest opinions about the options I was considering. She was in constant communication with me, the preferred lender, my realtor and the builders. She even would send me videos and pictures as the builders progressed. I honestly don't know if I would have chosen SDH if it were not for Khalilah's professionalism, patience and focus. She definitely is reason my experience was so great!

The knowledge of the contractor Hunter and Tony, the salesman who helped us throughout the entire process. They did an amazing job.

The customer service was amazing, as far as all the Representees. The properties were very well built and very efficient. I just highly recommend them to look at Smith Douglas Homes where you can invest and live.

Absolutely, without a doubt !! So far, our experience with
Smith Douglas has been exceptional.

The process was so smooth and easy and Kita was always there to assist if necessary. The builders were also extremely professional and Connor ensured I was satisfied with my home prior to closing day.

I would recommend but would tell people to be careful on the punch list

The contractors, Chad and Gabe, were really good. They were able to answer all my questions and were respectful of property. l like that Smith Douglas Homes does routine checks and even outside of that, they will still come out if I need them to check something.

Poor workmanship. Have holes on top of kitchen cabinets.
Underside of cabinets not painted. Kitchen Islsnd bottom wood is swollen. Paint if poor quality. Repeatedly ask to have this repaired but went into deaf ears.
GARAGE FLOOR extremely stain with some sort of glue.
Left debris of moldings in garage they did not throw away
Did not do all the paint touch up as per customer and builder inspection
A few doors where hinges are located were not painted

Smith Douglas Homes has good people, and they do a great job.

Chad was one of the construction manager over my property and he was awesome, patient and understanding! 1000/10 Chad!

The design of the house is beautiful. It was well-made. It is a beautiful home to live in.
