My opinion is solely based off the individual I work with. Mike Carlos was amazing; he didn't try to sell us on anything. He gave us information to allow us to make a decision; it was just a great experience working with him.

I highly recommend Smith Douglas Homes - Atlanta. They are high level professionals.

There was little to no communication from start to finish on our new build home. We did not get the option to add things during the design phase, and only became aware as they were building and we would've had to pay an additional $250 per item to add. After the fact the home was closed on, there were still several issues that took 4-5 time to be completed the correct way.

There were many mistakes (sloppy work) during our walkthrough that should not have passed your inspection. There were something’s that were blue-taped that was not repaired on closing day. Also during our walkthrough on closing day, the shower door fell off the hinges and was supposed to be repaired before signing. However, the door fell off the hinges again later that night. That was a month ago and we are still without a shower door. Unacceptable.

cut corners, basic things you'd think come with a house do not such as door threasholds, garage door opener, finishing the walls in the garage as they connect to the floor.

I already have recommended Smith Douglas because of Johnathan Ontiveros. I’ve heard some nightmare stories about new builds but with him he put those stories to rest.

I feel like the quality of Smith Douglas Homes is better than any of the other companies that I checked out. They had a much greater variety of choices to pick from for the things you want in your home.

I enjoyed working with John, Irma, Scott, and Giovanni. The house is beautiful.

Connie was absolutely amazing! She was so patient and sweet! Answered all my questions and kept me updated every step of the way with dates and pictures of my new home as the construction moved along! Tony was absolutely amazing and made sure everything was taken care of. Hunter was amazing also and stayed on the builders to make sure everything was good. All around, it was a very smooth process. I've been in my home for 30 days, and I have had no issues.

There are still findings from my inspection that are still to be done and I get no proactive feedback.

Rayna and Chad are a power team! Not only do they provide great customer service. They are reliable helpful, and will answer any questions you have.

We liked the different house plans they were nice and we chose the house plan that suited us. Would recommend to view different floor plans

Who ever did the drywall work in the home did a terrible job. Some of the stuff that was supposed to be fixed in the walk through was not. After closing I found paint and dry wall compound spills all over the new carpet. Who ever did the tile work up stairs did a terrible job.

This is my second time buying a home from Smith Douglas Homes and as expected, they have been nothing but professional and caring. I received updates every week and any question I had was answered in a timely matter. Lara is just the best at making sure buyers feel at ease and making sure everything goes smoothly. And Jonathan has made sure everything is working properly in my home and any question or request I have he is very quick to reply or stop by the house. He never makes me feel like I’m bothering him. Thank you Lara and Jonathan for making my home buying process so smooth.

The floor plans and customization offerings were above any other builder we looked at. Our neighborhood still had larger lots that make it feel like my childhood. Staff were very friendly.
