My experience was a good one, however there was some information that they left out, being that it was a new subdivision. They didn't tell me there was no Internet service on the property, even though they knew that I work from home and needed internet.
I FOUND THINGS THAT WAS NOT RIGHT AFTER WE MOVED IN
Well built home and more economical than other builders in area.
The process was fast and easy. The quality of the work is unmatched. My overall experience was great.
I really appreciate their service and transparency from the beginning till the end of the project.
They used high-quality materials in my home, and I would recommend them to anyone.
I would recommend a friend because I the homes are beautiful and I believe they are quality homes but will share my experience in hope they won’t go down the same path that I went through.
When something is wrong, they give you one shot. Which is usually after 11 months to fix it. I would like to have more than one when something is wrong, so I can fix it right away.
Everyone was very nice and always professional I have recommended several people
They had a great sales agent and construction manager.
Patty Rogers was absolutely a joy to work with. We looked at multiple other home builders and SD showed care and concern for HOME OWNERS not investment companies. They are a semi custom builder that allowed us to customize a great deal of our home. We spoke to one builder at another company that builds their homes exactly the same- colors everything and that is BORING. Just amazing work!
After closing, SD response to inquiries and repairs significantly slowed down.
The entire process, from start to finish, was seamless for me. I received great routine communication from my Smith Douglas Homes representative at each step of the way.
My house was not move in ready when I moved in. I am having to work with warranty to fix items. I have been in touch with the construction manager and I have not heard from him recently. He did follow up with 2 of my request. There were a lot of things that should have been done before closing. I will be submitting additional information as to what should have been done prior to closing.
My garage door fell out of the wall. I feel like the builders put people off. I feel like they rushed to build.
Smith Douglas Homes - Atlanta's customer service is very experienced. They are an open book. They tell you everything. What they say is done on time. I am very satisfied.
As long as April Watson is there and my home is still unfinished I will not !
The treatment of the staff was excellent and they explained everything very well
I would definitely recommend them to my friends.
Smith Douglas is a good builder
They are very helpful.
They handled the project with professionalism and care. They also demonstrated to me that they wanted to see us in our home and they did everything they could to make that happen.
Actually, before we closed on our home in Dalton, we gave info about Smith-Douglas homes and the Collington community to our neighbor in Cartersville who expressed interest in moving.
Too many obvious flaws that were overlooked or not addressed. As of today, I would not recommend a Smith Douglas home, which is unfortunate because I really love my home.
I had a gre
at experience as a first time home buyer.
GuildQuality partners with it's member companies to survey their customers and collect detailed feedback on their behalf. By administrating surveys as an unbiased third party we ensure that customers have the opportunity to express their true feelings about a project and that members get the most accurate and detailed feedback possible.
When a survey contains the "Review" question, that customer's answer will show up on the member's profile page as a public review. Members have the option to turn off reviews but cannot hide individual reviews. It's all or nothing. This means that any reviews you see on a GuildQuality profile page are real comments left by the customer and verified by GuildQuality.
Each item listed under "Customer satisfaction" represents a specific question asked by GuildQuality to customers of Smith Douglas Homes - Atlanta as part of our survey process. The bar graph and percentage next to the question stand for the percentage of respondents that were "Satisfied" about that particular question.
A customer is considered satisfied about about a question if they answered with 4 or more stars out of 5. For example if the "Communication" question is at 95% satisfaction that means that 95% of survey respondents answered that question with 4 or more stars out of 5 possible stars.More about surveys
