I accepted the offer for a new shower in June this year and was told it would be installed in 6 to 8 weeks. Heard in August that all parts weren’t ready. Made numerous calls with no response. Thought I was being scammed but finally got a call from management asking me to be patient. I agreed but was told in September that they could put the shower in in October. I told them to cancel the order and that I would contact BBB. They made a good offer and promised to have the job done by the first of October. I accepted the offer and the men had the job done in a day.

From the beginning, we had a poor experience. Renuity is very expensive and therefore create an expectation of flawless, professional service that they don't match.

The installation team was scheduled to arrive between 8 and 10 am. They were late and did not text to let us know. That disrupted our day and caused some rescheduling of appointments. When the district manager called after 10 am to ask us how installation was going, the crew had not yet arrived. (So they hadn't told him either.) The manager said he would check up on the crew but did not call back for several hours because he could not get hold of them. When they arrived, about 1/2 hour late, they explained that traffic was bad. Ok, that is understandable in this area. When I asked where they were coming from, they couldn't tell me. The installer said someplace that began with a "P." I then learned that the crew boss was not with them because he had a medical issue.

The demo and installation seemed to go well but I need a custom-made glass door and panel due to the configuration of my bathroom. That will take another 4-8 weeks before the project is finished. In the meantime, I am using a shower curtain on an expandable rod.

Because of the snafu in scheduling and all of the back-and-forth communications, the Renuity district manager traveled to my house the next day to make sure I was satisfied with the installation. While I was, I commented that the shower pan was very slippery. (I slipped stepping into for the first time.) He also thought it was slippery and said that he could address it. He said he would get back to me on Monday. (He never did.)

While he was here, I received a phone call from the regional manager who asked how it was going and if there was anything he could do to get me to provide a good review. He asked if I needed a new toilet, or bathroom flooring? When I realized what was going on, I told him that I felt insulted and that he should not continue in this vein. (Although my bathroom is almost 40 years old and I could use new tiling around the sink. Lol.)

Interestingly, I received a phone call from the finance company several days after installation asking if the job was completed so they could release the funds. I told them it wasn't because the door and panel were not yet installed. So apparently Renuity was trying to get paid before completion.

Finally, a comment on the materials. Renuity pitches the superior quality of the Kohler products and the salesman claimed that a Kohler shower would boost the value of our home by up to $10,000. While it is superior to a plastic one-piece shower, it doesn't seem much better than other similar products.

Finally, I am writing this almost two weeks after initial installation, afraid that after I give my review, the service will be worse. I hope not.

1st shower install was horrible
4 major issues

The seam finishes much larger than expected, and are made of cheap plastic. The outside edges are cheap plastic strips, not bulk nosed as expected for high end products. The caulking along the ceiling is awful. Looks like something I would buy from Lowes. Not at all happy with the final finishes.

Your installers, fernando and Eduardo, went beyond the best to create a beautiful new bathroom space. Their problem solving and creative modifications were outstanding. We can't say enough about how GREAT they were. Thank you for sending us the best!!

The work was done on the schedule we were provided. The workers were very conscious about cleanliness and laid drop cloths from the entrance to our house to the worksite. They worked effectively and kept us informed of the progress. We could not be happier with the experience.
