They were great and fast.
It is 9/17 and my counters are still not completed.
Extremely dissatisfied with the entire overall experience.
We purchased through Home Depot and also got a bid from an independent. The independent Gunter was much higher but by the time we were done it would have been the same amount.
Horrible experience. Counterop had to be installed twice. Poor work, poor installation, poor project management.
Installer arrived angry because his 8am appointment (a hotel, apparently an important customer) had cancelled. Myriah at Precision Countertop (PC) called me at 8:05am, since installer wanted to be at my property in 30 minutes due to his 8am appointment being cancelled. My appointment arrival time for installer was 10:30am -1:30pm. I explained that since I lived in Portland that I would be in Newberg by 9:30am if I left immediately. I got to my Newberg duplex by 9:20am. The installer and his assistant were in their van parked in the driveway waiting upon my arrival. I asked the installer to wait 5 minutes before coming in, and he did not like that.
Installer properly wore a mask (I totally support wearing of masks due to Covid19), He started to explain about his installation process. I could not clearly understand what he was saying, since the mask muffled his words. So, I asked him to speak slower. After I asked him to speak slower, he started speaking to me angrier, and rudely . In an attempt to descalate his angry towards me, I said to him: "Could you speak more polite or even friendly?" Then he was outraged, and said: "This is me. I don't know what you want me to do. I don't have to take this." He pickup his mats, and belongings, and left. So, he walked off the job even before starting the installation. Then 2 minutes later he knocked on the front door saying he forgot his cell phone. I was facing a deadline since tenants were scheduled to move in that Saturday; so I agreed that he could stay to install the countertop if he was professional. He was not professional. I kept my distance away from him most of the time during the installation by being upstairs. I called PC, and spoke to a supervisor, and explained the situation, The supervisor reassured me that the installer would not be vindictive, and would do a good job; then called and spoke to him. 20 minutes later, as I was walking by the dining room, installer addressed me once, and said in a strained tone: "Gloria, do you have any questions for me?" I responded: "No, not at this moment."
Installer did not go through a check list upon completion of the installation. INSTALLER WORK WAS VERY UNSATISFACTORY. THE COUNTERTOP IS NOT LEVEL BECAUSE INSTALLER FAILED TO CUT THE UNDER EDGE CORRECTLY. The only reason that I was aware of the improper install was because my maintenence man used his level to demonstrate the unlevel countertop, and how the under edge needs to be cut about 1/8", so countertop would be level. My maintenence man installs laminated countertop, but chose not to install this countertop due to the several angles. My maintenence man recommended having the install done by a company that specializes in countertop install. Visually I can see that the countertop is not level. PC agreed to schedule an appointment for me to fix the unlevel countertop only after Home Depot made that request on my behalf to PC.
In conclusion I would not recommend Precision Countertop to anyone: PRECISION COUNTER SUBCONTRACTOR INSTALLER BULLIED ME, WALKED OFF THE JOB, THEN RETURNED- INSTALLED COUNTERTOP UNLEVEL.
Installer would not have behaved in such an unprofessional manner if I had been a white woman. I am Japanese American, third generation American, over 70 years old. I am under 5 feet tall, 115lbs, and appeared to the installer someone he could bully because he was having a bad morning before his arrival at my rental duplex. I even showed up one hour earlier upon installer request. The cost of the countertop including materials is about $4500.
From Customer Service, to measurement, to installation, and follow up Precision Countertops was great!
From start to finish I was completely satisified with the process and result.
Precision Countertops is the BEST...would highly recommend
I found Precision Countertops to be knowlegable, helpful, dedicated to providing good service and very professional.
Not one complaint. Professional and responsive with every interaction.
The process with Precision Countertops went very smoothly from start to finish. Pleasant people at every stage.
I would highly recommend Precision Countertops. They did my previous home and after purchasing my new home, Precision was my only choice for countertops. Virginia was great to work. My installer Viktor was extremely professional and called prior to his arrival. He patiently answered all of my questions and did and outstanding job with my installation. Exceeded my expectations!
From beginning to end of project we were extremely pleased.
Wonderful customer service, knowledgeable crews. Great service.
Counters look great. The customer service people kept us informed of each step of the process.
Although Precision Countertops is a contractor for Home Depot, so I didn't actually get to choose them, I am very pleased with the results. The project coordinators made sure I got notified of dates and times for the process, so nothing was a surprise, except for how surprised I was to see how well they blended the seams on my solid surface countertop.
At first there was an issue with the seam but they sent a specialist out to fix it and you can't even find the seam. He did an absolutely amazing job!
Countertop was delayed 2 times due to material defects. Was suppose to be installed late May and finally got the product installed in late August. Once in, they look great
The whole crew was amazing to work with!
Communication problem that started with Rachel.
This process greatly exceeded expectations. The gentleman that did the template of the counter tops listened to the specifics that I wanted and was very personable, very easy to work with. When the installers arrived we had company so everything was a little crazy. They were fast, in and out in about 2 hours. They were very personable kind of fit right in, felt like I should have invited them to dinner. I am so happy with the counter tops they look terrific and fit beautifully. A huge upgrade from my original counters. Thanks everyone, terrific job!!
Our experience with precision countertops was nothing short of horrible. We had several different workers come out to our house at different times to try to fix the mistakes the first crew made. We were left with seams filled in with the wrong color caulk, major damage done to the drywall behind our counters, and chips in our large brand new slabs of quartz. The entire process took entirely too much time and was a gigantic headache. If I were legally inclined there would be a lawsuit, but I will settle for making sure everyone knows to never use Precision Countertops. The only way we would be happy at this point would be if precision countertops gave us entirely new countertops and a professional crew who knows what they are doing to reinstall. We know this will more than likely than not happen.
There was an issue with our kitchen island counter top being measured incorrectly. They had said as long as my oven was on site, they would be able to take correct measurements. They did not account for the gas hose and therefore the measurements were about 1.5-2 inches off, leaving a large gap behind our oven. I was greatly dissatisfied with this company’s customer service and felt like it was difficult to get the issue fixed. It was as though they were trying to do everything but help make it right. They asked me to move my outlet or push the oven back. The outlet could not be moved enough to make a difference and pushing the oven back would have caused an unsightly overhang and would have caused damage to our cabinets due to the heat from the oven. Communication was poor and I had to initiate most of it. Eventually, they recut the countertop but it still had a gap in the back. I still gave them 3 stars since what was done correctly was beautiful. The installation team was professional and competent. But unfortunately, customer service is sorely lacking.
Precision Countertops was mandated by Home Depot. I'm not sure if I would be able to recommend them to someone else.

By administrating surveys as an unbiased third party we ensure that customers have the oppurtunity to express their true feelings about a project and that members get the most accurate and detailed feedback possible.
When a survey contains the "Review" question, that customer's answer will show up on the member's profile page as a public review. Members have the option to turn off reviews but cannot hide individual reviews. It's all or nothing. This means that any reviews you see on a GuildQuality profile page are real comments left by the customer and verified by GuildQuality.
Each item listed under "Customer satisfaction" represents a specific question asked by GuildQuality to customers of Precision Countertops, Inc. as part of our survey process. The bar graph and percentage next to the question stand for the percentage of respondents that were "Satisfied" about that particular question.
A customer is considered satisfied about about a question if they answered with 4 or more stars out of 5.
