We are so happy with our kitchen remodel by Normandy. Our designer came up with a layout we had never considered and was very helpful guiding us in choosing our design elements. The project superintendent kept us informed about the work as it was being completed and was always available to answer questions.
We have already provided Normandy's name/contact information to someone, but will only do so depending on type/scope of project. We know that our building -- which often provides names of contractors to unit owners -- has not added Normandy to their list of recommended sources.
Having done several projects with Normandy we would consider no other option in reomdelers.
THE DESIGN/BUILD CONCEPT WAS EXACTLY WHAT WE NEEDED IN ORDER TO MAKE A VERY DIFFICULT SPACE WORK. OUR PROJECT CONSISTED OF COVERTING AN ATTIC INTO A MASTER BEDROOM SUITE, COMPLETE WITH AN UPSCALE BATHROOM. THE ARCHTICT (JEREMY) AND DESIGNER (LIZ) MADE THIS UNUSUAL SPACE WORK, REGARDLESS OF ALL THE ANGLES DICTATED BY THE ROOFLINE. THEY INTRODUCED DESIGN CONCEPTS THAT WE HAD NOT CONSIDERED. PROJECT MANAGER BRIAN MADE SURE THAT THE PUNCHLIST WAS MINIMAL AT COMPLETION, BY ACTIVELY IDENTIFYING AND RESOLVING PROBLEMS DURING THE CONSTRUCTION PROCESS. LARGE REMODELING PROJECTS CAN GENERATE SIGNIFICANT ANXIETY AND ARE NATURALY DISRUPTIVE. NORMANDY REMODELING UNDERSTANDS THESE CONCERNS. THEY DID, IN MY OPINION, GIVE US THE BEST CHANCE FOR A POSITIVE OUTCOME FOR OUR PROJECT AND EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS.
I love everything about my kitchen! It was worth every cent and every minute of construction!
They were very professional and listened to my needs.
We were satisfied with every aspect of the work Normandy Remodeling did for us. Most importantly was the team, which included the designers, the project manager, and the installers. We were kept fully informed every day of the status and what to expect the following day. This was extremely helpful with planning and staying on top of the project. Anything that popped up was taken care of immediately in an accommodating and swift manner. The quality of the work and the products is outstanding.
We, without hesitation, recommend Normandy Remodeling to others interested in updating and improving their homes. Our goal was to update our kitchen and blend it with our traditional style home. We are most grateful to Laura Barber and Mike Laskowski for guiding and advising us to accomplish that goal.
Normandy did a careful and complete job, especially addressing the structural issues encountered. Daryl was outstanding.
The project and working relationships were high quality. We understand and appreciate it comes with cost. And for us, it was worth it.
We have full trust and confidence in Normandy Remodeling.
I am awaiting resolution of ice/water issues as result of remodeling.
The final product is good and we are happy with our kitchen, however the process once the project began was not as was well managed as we would have expected. The project took 15 weeks and some skill trades had to make multiple trips to address issues, with several week days with no work scheduled or completed
it was not worth the amount of money spent
Be prepared for longer than anticipated wait time.
This is my Google review. It says everything about our experience with Normandy. "We had a great experience in working with Normandy. Our designer, Amanda Heyland, was not only talented, but also had the ability to listen. She spent time talking to my wife and I to learn about our likes and dislikes when it came to everything from faucets to sinks to lighting to countertops. We asked her to give us no more than 2 or 3 choices that she thought would work for us and she delivered. Our superintendent, Mike Laskowski, was an incredibly organized person. He was on the job site almost daily. He sent us a summary of work completed and work scheduled for the next day or two every evening. It was obvious that he worked hard behind the scenes to schedule people in different trades to keep our project moving. Amanda and Mike are professionals who happen to be good people. I also have to mention that the subcontractors employed by Normandy worked hard, were professional, and like Mike and Amanda, were really decent people. I highly recommend Normandy.”
We loved working with them and we've referred them to other people. We did refer them to my sister in law and there was a mis-measurement so they have to change their plans. it looks bad that we referred them and there an issue.
We were extremely pleased with Normandy from start to finish of the project. Both Bill Peterson and Tyler Norman were wonderful to work with. We did a gut remodel of the kitchen, bathroom and dining room so basically could not use the main floor. We lived in the basement and top floor and Normandy was amazing working with us. Both Bill and Tyler had extremely high standards for their work product and for their subcontractors. They noticed every detail and worked to make it perfect. They made a challenging project enjoyable and I would highly recommend them and Normandy.
When my building was completed almost 75 years ago, it was considered the largest building in the world. Today, it's still enormous, but not an easy place to remodel due to age and a mega remodel in the 1970's. Finding a company willing to take on my remodeling challenge was difficult, but Normandy achieved my goals with a minimum of stress and only a few changes to my plans, despite workplace rule changes that occurred during the pandemic of 2020. I am very pleased with the outcome and have been approached by several people in my building now considering using Normandy Remodeling.
We have used Normandy for three projects over the years and love the final product on all of them. Normandy is first class from initial discussion through the final punch list. We have have highly recommended Normandy many times and we have also recommended our designer, Leslie Molloy.
I was really impressed with the level of organization and communication - the experience was really good and I think the quality of the work is top notch, in comparison to other people I've worked with. The one thing I wish is that painting would be part of the project so that you end with a completely done job. Also, this is picky, but some of my floor tiles have slight flaws in them, but there were tons of leftover tiles. I wish the tiler had used all the good tiles possible.
I would absolutely encourage people to use Normandy. They did an outstanding job for me from start to finish.
The communication was excellent. We were halfway through the project when the pandemic shutdown started. They quickly devised a way to safely continue.
Normandy did an outstanding job with our bathroom remodel. They were very responsive to our request and they exceeded our expectations.
Clear timeline, friendly & professional teams, beautiful work.
GuildQuality partners with it's member companies to survey their customers and collect detailed feedback on their behalf. By administrating surveys as an unbiased third party we ensure that customers have the oppurtunity to express their true feelings about a project and that members get the most accurate and detailed feedback possible.
When a survey contains the "Review" question, that customer's answer will show up on the member's profile page as a public review. Members have the option to turn off reviews but cannot hide individual reviews. It's all or nothing. This means that any reviews you see on a GuildQuality profile page are real comments left by the customer and verified by GuildQuality.
Each item listed under "Customer satisfaction" represents a specific question asked by GuildQuality to customers of Normandy Remodeling as part of our survey process. The bar graph and percentage next to the question stand for the percentage of respondents that were "Satisfied" about that particular question.
A customer is considered satisfied about about a question if they answered with 4 or more stars out of 5. For example if the "Communication" question is at 95% satisfaction that means that 95% of survey respondents answered that question with 4 or more stars out of 5 possible stars.More about surveys
