Abby Osborn was wonderful to work with. She gave us excellent advice on design and option choices during the many months of planning our project. She was available for many meetings and always spent as much time as needed with us.

Bruce Pettingill is our project manage and he was responsive about issues and options during the months of work on our remodel. He coordinated all the sub-contractors and worked with me on change orders and modification to our plans as needed. I am happy that I am still able to contact Bruce with questions. His experience and advice have been invaluable to the success of our project.

They stayed in touch and let us know the progress of the reconstruction they were doing, or remodeling, I would say, with pictures also. Their showroom has a lot of different samples and a lot to choose from. Vince was very helpful. He followed up on every question we had and spent time in the showroom and on our property. We enjoyed working with him. We enjoyed it.

The quality of work was not always what we expected. We felt that the work could have been completed in a more timely manner. It was a year from when we contracted Normandy to the completion. We were advised that the project would not start for 9 months and could take 3 months to complete but once the project started the delays were in being able to schedule different contractors.

We just finished our second remodeling project with Normandy at this house, and we're very pleased with the experience, and with the finished product. Our experience is that remodeling requires three key elements: an excellent designer, an excellent construction manager, and excellent trades. If any one of those is lacking, it causes big problems. Normandy has shown that it has all three. Our designer did a great job envisioning the job and planning it, our project manager was experienced, diligent, and respectful of our living space, and the trades, without exception, were skilled and committed to doing a good job. Normandy doesn't cut corners--they do the job right. There is high quality in their design, their materials, and their work.

This was my second time working with Normandy on a rehab project. They were organized, and the results were amazing.

We were pleased with the whole experience, from planning through construction.

Normandy should never take high-rise jobs in downtown Chicago when sub-contractors clearly do not to work there. They dislike the extra travel time, availability of parking, and freight elevator problems. We pay double the labor in downtown Chicago for the same services that would be offered in the suburbs, or locations in Chicago that offer easy parking and accessibility.

The experience was well organized and executed. Our designer worked with us to incorporate all of our needs and wants in the spaces. Our Supervisor kept in regular contact with us and the contractors were strong tradespeople. We have completed 3 projects with Normandy and recommended them to several friends and family members.

We are thrilled with the remodel of our bathroom!

While the design process was fun, the construction phase was brutal with lack of planning of construction activities and resources.

Overall, it was a great experience with the work well done.

The group at Normandy was able to help us realize our library dreams. We are grateful to the sales/design team for helping us create a design that was exactly what we wanted. This included searching high and low for the exact tile we wanted for our bathroom and sending a sample of our flooring to the ladder company to ensure that our library ladder was a perfect match. The project manager, Sean, was a great communicator and extremely empathetic when things got off track. Which they did. Unfortunately, there were some issues with attention to detail on the sales end which contributed to an extension of the timeline and some additional expense to Normandy. However, the team at Normandy resolved the issues and Sean was amazing throughout.

I would absolutely reccomend Normandy to anyone in need of a designer that truly listens to thier needs, desires quality remodeling/construction worksmanship, professionals that don't cut corners, and a project management experience that was communicative. comprehensive and never stressful.

Turnover of our designer was not only disappointing but caused much confusion since no selection notes where entered in the computer and our inquiries on budget and project timeline that had been verbal communications and alignments where treated like “oh well” she not here anymore. You should be responsible for your employees actions or at least acknowledge the disconnects and disruption. Honestly, it was beyond acceptable- the project was over budget, timeline of starting and finishing was so far off the mark that the only successful timeline followed was collecting payments.

Outstanding quality of workmanship, sub-contractors were all pleasant to have in our home.

We had used Normandy to remodel our kitchen and mud room a few years earlier. Normandy and designer Laura Barber envisioned and produced a kitchen that exceeded my dreams (Midnight Blue bottom cabinets contrasting with white upper cabinets, a warm natural wood ceiling Laura encouraged me to keep, and a new west-facing window over the sink—sunsets put scrubbing pots and pans in a much more enjoyable light.

We are so pleased with the outcome of our project! Leslie understood our lifestyle and envisioned a space that works perfectly for our family. Leslie also provided great guidance through the product selection process. Once the work began, Bill did a great job communicating to us what we could expect every day, and being available for our questions and concerns. It was a pleasure to work with the Normandy team!

Design is helpful an d complete. Construction proceeded as scheduled, and more than met our expectations. We are thrilled with the outcome. It was all we dreamed of and more.
