I know there were a lot of moving parts but the install took a loooong time and I'm still waiting on final receipt of tax information and system manual.

Excellent work from first estimates to follow-up after installation. NK's price was basically the same as the other good outfits we asked for estimates, but their work and service truly have been superb. Good people, from sales to design, to installation, to follow-up.

Although we had 2 other bids that were cheaper, the expertise and experience of the entire NK team made the extra cost well worth it. The team was great, and the system is working perfectly. The timeline was quite a bit longer than I expected, mostly due to factors beyond our control (utility, city, supply chain), but communication was sometimes a little slow or confused.

They are a well established company that I feel confident will be around if there is ever an issue.

The NK team were great, they did excellent work, cleaned up everything perfectly when they were done, and the system is working nicely.

We had a 12 year old undersized solar array that we were unable to add to and had developed a leak in the roof under it. Niel Kelly was able to remove the old array, fix the roof, and put in a new larger and more efficient solar system in about three days. They were also able to decommission the old array in such a way we could put the old panels in storage so they could be used again by other family members. Their designers and installers were great to work with in that they were quite responsive to all our questions and ideas. All in all, quite happy with the end result. By the way, the final product generated as much in 10 days as our old system did in an entire month for the same month last year.

They have a good warranty and are an established company in the community that doesn't seem to be going anywhere tomorrow. However, the communications between their staff and with us are lacking or difficult. Today, for example, it has taken multiple attempts to schedule a close-out meeting with their staff.
Today, an hour and a half before that meeting, they called to say they wouldn't be able to make it, and it would have to be rescheduled. There have been a lot of things like that. It has just been hard to get timely and accurate communication from them and between them.

We were completely delighted with our experience with the Neil Kelly Solar Team. They were very professional, smart, reliable and all around lovely people.
