Communication about progress was the best. Mark Bradley was on top of everything and always looked out for us as to the direction we needed to take on the rebuild. There were no shortcuts and everything was done to our satisfaction.
My good impression started with the well spoken people who answer the phone, then continued with Mandy and her crew, which consisted of floater workers who were very personable, probably because Mandy showed the same. Roger was of a very good nature and positive and lined up the crew for repairs. William (apprentice) if I have the right name seems to have been taught well, and Kyle is a diamond of a find for door work, hope you keep him until he retires. If I am right the contracted painter, carpet layer crew and plumber were all aligned and did well. It was a long process but we were lucky enough the area is not used by us at this time. Good to have it done.
We were very happy with the quality of the work that was performed by Menold Construction. Brian and his team didn't cut corners and paid a lot of attention to details. They were always professional and respectful. I also appreciate their flexibility and willingness to work with us to get what we wanted.
They did a great on the bath room and I would definitely have them again.
Menold's are my go-to folks for any construction, renovation, or emergency home repair project. They are so reliable and professional. They always do exactly what they say they're going to do exactly when they say they'll do it. And if something isn't quite right, they make sure to address it right away. They're a little more expensive than some other area contractors, but totally worth it!
We had a great experience with Jason, Christian, Alan and Alex. They went above and beyond to address our concerns and make sure this project was completed according to our comfort levels. Everyone was professional, patient and kind. Jason gave me as much time and information as I needed to feel prepared and the project was completed on time and in a manner that I felt very comfortable with. They are a great team and I appreciate them very much.
They were on time and did a great job
All the personnel I came in contact with were very caring, courteous and comforting in this situation!!
Menold's Restoration is the best in taking care of people who have gone through a fire, water damage or whatever the case is that has gone wrong with someone's home. This is the third time we have needed their services and are always greatly pleased with the work they have done. The are #1 in restoration services.
Menold Construction was available when many other companies weren't, however, there were delays in communication and I had to reach out multiple times to check on service.
They did an awesome job and were absolutely excellent. My supervisor, Billy, was top-notch.
They did not finish the project in a timely manner. In fact they came and pulled off to do other work for someone else.
I think they did a real good job.
They did a fantastic job and I would recommend them to anybody.
I was very impressed with the service I received from Menold Construction. They did a very good job and were super nice. I was referred to them by a friend, and I would definitely recommend them to others as well.
Menold Construction and Restoration was extremely prompt on the scene. Our garage was struck by a neighbors car and they were here within and hour.
I would recommend them to anyone. We were very satisfied with their service!
I found to be very professional and was able to adapt to the situation.
Yes I would recommend Menold as a company to contact. They kept in constant contact with me and responded back quickly when I texted or called them which was very important since I always had lots of questions.
Our remediation experience was excellent - The Menold team responded quickly to our water issue and took immediate action to begin remediation. Communication was excellent, explaining the process and communicating throughout. For the restoration work my issues were related to the time from quoting the job to scheduling. This took multiple weeks to get the scheduling and then further weeks to begin construction. Overall, the actual construction quality and drywall repairs were done very well. However the final trim, caulk and paint are not good. Excess caulk in joints, gaps in other caulk joints, cutting lines are not straight and the painter performed a drywall repair on the ceiling that is poor. Even after the drywaller tried to fix the defect, it remains and now shows clearly that repairs have been made.
Endless delays, partially complete, a comedy of errors and poor communication.
We were very satisfied with the prompt attention to our flooded basement problem from the first day, to putting the basement back together again. Sean was a great person to work with as a concerned project manager, checking to see that all the work the contractors were doing met our expectations.
Menold did what they said they would and did it when they said they would. The integrity of all the menold people was very gratifying.
I found the experience with Menolds frustrating at times. When I initially called about water damage in our home, Menolds sent someone right away to look at the damage and start the process for clean up. This employee detailed all the work that would be done - tearing out ceiling, drywall, etc. The clean up crew got started relatively quick, which was appreciated. However, this crew acted like they had not seen the work order/contract that I was given by the first employee. I had to keep asking for work to be completed (i.e. removal of drywall in areas that were effected, removal of insulation that was soaked, etc.). When the construction crew came, it was the same process again. Even though we agreed upon work to be completed, I had to constantly point out work listed in the contract that was not completed. I feel like Menolds over promised work, wrote a contract, and then under delivered. While there was a job supervisor/superintendent (Kip) assigned to my project, I was confused as to his actual role/responsibilities. After taking several days off of work to get painting finished correctly and asking about work that was listed in the contract that had not been completed, I eventually gave up and signed off on the completed work.
Dan Beal was extremely helpful/knowledgeable throughout the process. Other than that, I have few positives.
GuildQuality partners with it's member companies to survey their customers and collect detailed feedback on their behalf. By administrating surveys as an unbiased third party we ensure that customers have the oppurtunity to express their true feelings about a project and that members get the most accurate and detailed feedback possible.
When a survey contains the "Review" question, that customer's answer will show up on the member's profile page as a public review. Members have the option to turn off reviews but cannot hide individual reviews. It's all or nothing. This means that any reviews you see on a GuildQuality profile page are real comments left by the customer and verified by GuildQuality.
Each item listed under "Customer satisfaction" represents a specific question asked by GuildQuality to customers of Menold Construction and Restoration as part of our survey process. The bar graph and percentage next to the question stand for the percentage of respondents that were "Satisfied" about that particular question.
A customer is considered satisfied about about a question if they answered with 4 or more stars out of 5. For example if the "Communication" question is at 95% satisfaction that means that 95% of survey respondents answered that question with 4 or more stars out of 5 possible stars.More about surveys
