Having never had a roof replaced, it was very helpful to have someone as knowledgeable as Connor Kearn, explain the different things to consider about a roof. When he was done, I think I may be an expert on roofing myself. We were considering a metal roof or partial metal roof due to ice dams. Connor explained a better more cost effective roofing method to prevent ice dams. After signing contract, the roof was installed in a timely and very professional manner. Crew was very hardworking and courteous.
I did not get what I paid for. I was supposed to have 3/4” plywood behind the wall and blue or purple board to protect it from mold and mildew. They put up half of the plywood they were supposed to, and I got no blue or purple board. So what is behind the wall is not satisfactory.
The roof install went very well. The install of the gutters, there was a small problem. There was a lack of communications and the project took longer to complete than originally planned for.
The technicians were very professional and worked in an orderly manner. They came on time. They left my house in an orderly fashion.
The timeframe for the delivery of the product was approximately sixty days after the delivery day. The approximate delivery day was August 20th and the product did not come until the 14th of October.
I have already recommended them to friends.

They did a nice job on the installation of the half bath, but it is still very new. They said the caulking would not stain, and we have given it some time, but we already have seen some stains. I don't know if it will last that long without stains, but it looks nice.
They are uncoordinated and seem inexperienced in this job.

During the roof installment, a big portion of drywall ceiling came down in our living room and also one of the roofer slipped his leg and made a whole on our daughter's ceiling. Accidents do happen, I am not complaining the damage, but it is taking few weeks for them to come fix these issues and their miscommunication within the company is extremely poor. We still have two huge holes on our ceiling even after 3 weeks of roof installation.
I already have and will likely use Long Home again on my new real estate investments!

I think the initial pricing was too high, however if the communication to read the contract carefully and if you were given time to do that, I would consider recommending it. You shouldn’t have to sign on the spot.
I am so very disappointed with the shower that I'm sad. I thought Andrew understand my disabilities were the reasons for my interests, but we weren't on the same page. I am not comfortable in this shower and dread taking a shower every day.
First, the crew came for the job a day later than scheduled. Because of that, they began installing the roof on a rainy day. When the rain started the crew stopped early and covered the exposed parts of the roof. This unfortunately did nothing to stop a leak from coming into the house, which persisted until the rain stopped. The crew also ran out of shingles and needed to continue where they left off the next day. Them running out wasn't a huge issue, but it still made the project take longer to complete. They broke a concrete stair leading to the house, and when I asked them to replace it they did it very unprofessionally. On top of that, the crew also left scratches on the siding and handrail around the house when setting up their ladder. Lastly, they almost killed two bushes due to lack of attention to work detail and left old shingles laying around the house. The project was not done well.
I am still waiting on my job to be completed. Someone needs to come in, take the windows out, put in the new frames, and put the windows back in. I will have to have someone come in later down the line to fix a leak if they don't fix it. It will cost me more money.
They provided good information and do good work.
Long Home was prompt, timely, and clean.
From beginning to end, the professionalism was top-notch. The officers continuously called to see if we appreciated what going on, if there were any problems or questions. When the installers came we were always called to find out how the progress was going or if we had questions or concerns. For a lot of different companies, its called get my money and run. We paid a ton of money upfront anyway so they could have played hit and run and we'd have been left holding the bag like other companies might have done, but that wasn't done. I appreciated the professionalism, the care, and the courtesy. I appreciated the workmanship and have no complaints except that the company for financing was iffy for me but other than that everything was fantastic.
I have been very happy with what they did. The shower they put in is terrific!
I am disappointed by the last experience. The warranty is exceptional in them being there, however the problem is they came to do a one-day bathroom job for me, and it is still not finished. They installed the whole bathtub and the walls are different colors. I haven't heard anything back from them. Nothing is finished, and I can't really use it. That has been 3-4 weeks ago.

Long home products should not be installing showers that need a wall built because it is their policy to not do the finish work and it’s practically impossible to find someone for small jobs . I must say that when I complained bitterly about this they did agree to come and finish it off within a few hours but their idea of finishing was not mine .Even quick drying joint compound can not be dried, sanded and painted within a few hours especially when It was going to be impossible to correctly attach any corner bead on one side of the wall because there was only a half inch piece of sheet rock between the shower surround and the outside corner. I’ve had a lot of work done in this old house the past 29 years and have learned a lot myself and the way they were going to finish it was not the right way .I got a $500. discount instead which made up for the money I lost on the sale of the tub . I didn’t trust them to come back and do it correctly .Now I still have to pay someone to finish it.
It was fast and efficient...they know their stuff....and reasonable pricing...

While we will definitely recommend, it certainly did take a LONG TIME to get the job completed.
The only problem I have is that they won't pick up the materials. I keep asking them.
For the windows, I would recommend Long Home Products to a friend. I would give them a 5-star rating on the windows. But, I had an issue with the roof. They took the shingles off and covered it with tarps. They did not place the tarps properly. The wind blew the tarps off the roof. It rained and everything got wet. My daughter's bedroom and my bathroom got wet. I am not happy. The contractor came to look at it, and he said they would take care of the ceiling and paint it again. But I am not very happy with the roof.
Some of the materials used were not what the sales representative promised.
I was very unhappy with the first installation, it was unsatisfactory. The first installer didn't know what he was doing, a job that took one day took 6 months to complete. The second installer was the supervisor, He knew exactly what he was doing. It was done correctly the second time.

I can't believe what they did in two days. The people who took everything off the roof did that fastidiously and earnestly. They took a short lunch break and came right back to work. They got the job done and cleaned up beautifully.

A couple of days later, the gutter people came. They were quick and efficient.
