Very good job
Although the job was finally completed satisfactorily and within an acceptable time frame, there were a lot of smaller issues along the way. After discounts were applied, this was still a $52K-plus job for which I wouldn't have expected to have to deal with these issues.
I like my new shower & toilet, but shower wall was initially installed incorrectly & that caused delays & miscommunication. My problem is that I wasn’t working with a consistent group of employees… each step was with a different person or set & no follow up or explanations from them along the way. When the installers speak no English & didn’t have a clear idea of the plan. Let me be clear, the individuals separately were personable, but I paid a lot of money & expected more professional treatment.
We had a problem with different crews.
The guy who completed the work was excellent. He talked me through everything, showed me the problems, and was a very good employee. He took the time to explain and show things that needed to be done. He was an excellent employee for Long Home Products.
They not do the job as promised did not finish the job will not return my calls
I am very well pleased with the way they did their work. They're clean up and their matter rhythm. They were two great guys.Thank you very much
Sorry never ever

Great people. Listened to our issues and came up with creative ideas to solve. Good pricing
The end result exceeded my expectations however the wait time was too long for me.
Very professional, and did an excellent job!!!
We had a tub removed and a shower installed. We were very pleased with the product & installation. We were expecting sub walls to be green or blue board rather than the mold resistant MDF.
The customer service is terrible, and it has been nothing but headaches.
I had nothing but problems.
The installers did a great job on both bathrooms. But in this recent one, I did not get the outcome I wanted.
Installation and workmanship were very good. Not as happy with quality and appearance of materials.
They were very polite and courteous. When they came into the house to do the work, they were very polite. If I asked them any questions about what was going on, they didn't hesitate to answer. They're very cooperative. They did a very good job.
They did our roof and gutters and did an absolutely wonderful job. They did the roof in one day then came and did the gutters the next. It looks so nice. I would definitely recommend Long Home Products.
The crew that did my roof were on time and ready to work. They were well coordinated and completed my roof in a timely manner with little disruption to me.
Workmanship. Not the best.... communication is a problem... mostly done through email...couple things were my fault... but mostly on there end...too many chiefs .alot of. Oh nobody told me... late appointments....for a company that's been in business generations... I'll go else where next time
While most of the people I dealt with were responsive and professional and I think the work was ultimately done well, my experience was terrible. I signed up in March. The work was scheduled twice and cancelled because of weather. Then weeks passed while I followed up to try to reschedule and was ignored. One day a truckload of supplies arrived but had to be sent back because there was no crew. Finally I learned that the construction guys were dragging their feet because no one had told me that the AC units on the roof would have to be removed before the work could be done. The units were old and had to be replaced. Had I been told this at the beginning, I would have had plenty of time to do research and get quotes for a replacement. As it was, I had to do that in a sprint and instead of having the roof installed in April as initially promised, it happened in mid July--so I had a week with no AC during the hottest part of the year. Finally, I was told the work was done and asked to sign off on it while the downspout was lying in pieces on my deck. Really really poor communication.
The entire experience with this company has been exemplary, from the initial contact through the entire installation. I would highly recommend LongHome Products.
The pushy sales tactics were really off putting. There was a switch where it became about him making a sale instead of supporting his prospects in making a big decision and a large investment. For example , asked for 1 business day to think about it and the tone changed and he said” if I leave today I’m never hearing from you again I know that and you know that” it made me extremely uncomfortable and honestly we still regret rewarding this behavior with a sale. We wanted financing options and that’s why we went with Long NOT the pushy sales pitch. Also , the 50 year warranty. The price was higher than competitors.
The communication teams that I worked with after Jordan seemed clueless and mixed up our date and clearly were not fluent in the products they work in assisting people schedule for, mixed up our date a couple different times leading to unnecessary confusion and challenges when I came to disconnecting the power. The actual team that came out to the house was on time and did a great job aside from leaving many nails in our driveway which we picked up ourselves despite what Jordan promised was “ the absolute best clean up every thing will be spottless” thankfully we found them before we got a nail in our tires. The 2 people I would like to say were amazing were the project manager who I’m told no longer works there and Sam at the local office , extremely professional and knowledgeable.
I will steer my friends away from working with Long Home Products.
Sales & roofing were great - 5 for sure. However there is a problem with the gutters.
The installation ended great but the check up to install the trim and screw covers is still not finished because they gave me the wrong size covers and I still have not been contacted about finishing the job. And one window was made wrong. I am still waiting on the correct window but they said one to two weeks and it's only been 12 days.
I have nothing but admiration for the crew and the job they did putting on my new roof
They were professional, got it done quick, and cleaned up.
Guys worked in 95 degree heat and didn’t complain. Did great job. Cleaned up after themselves. 👍🏽
The workmanship of the team that installed 2 doors was amazing! Thank you
The installers were quick and courteous. Even during demo day, the house was kept clean.
It has been a pleasure to work with Long Home Products. Last year, they did a roof, and this year, they installed a storm door and siding. It's made a difference in the look of my home, and I'm very happy with the people who did the service. They did a phenomenal job.
Thanks for the hard work. They worked in the rain and weekends. They initially refused to switch vents. I had to call the office to get this changed. I expected the project manager to be more understanding.
Communication is difficult. My shower door was ordered incorrectly twice. When they put the door in they put the towel bar inside the shower door. I tried reaching out to the project manager (Nico) and the regional manager Dave Smith. We are waiting to hear back to see if they are going to respond and make the correction. I tried telling the installer the door was incorrect we did not want it installed that way. I was told no that is the way to install it. The quality of the door is very flimsy. For the price of this shower remodel we are very disappointed.
The whole process was professional and courteous.
So far, dealing with Long Home Products has been horrendous. They were supposed to show up on Monday, but no one showed up due to car problems. I ended up missing two days of work. On Tuesday, they showed up, did the installation, damaged my sheetrock, and put up the wrong doors, and I have not heard from anyone regarding the doors or being compensated for the time off I had to take. It is hard to get ahold of Long Home Products. It is horrendous. Long Home Products tells us they will be there quickly for a leak, but it has been two weeks, and I cannot get ahold of them for the doors or to be compensated.
The overall quality of the workmanship and communication between the Project Manager (Jason) and his team was extremely difficult. The lead worker spoke maybe 5 - 10% English, with none of the other workers speaking any. The fact the Project Manager left the job site and left that individual here as the 'point man' made any of our concerns moot because we couldn't communicate. The Project Manager didn't come out until two days after the project was, and I use this term loosely, completed. For that reason, I have over two dozen nails coming through my porch roof, the roof leaks less than a week later, there is a roofing nail in the side of my log home facia board where they broke the board and tried to fix it, and it's been over three days and I haven't heard back from anyone. After they 'completed' the job, on the second day, the lead worker gave me a piece of paper to sign. My understanding of it was to say the roof was on the house. However, I also understood the Project Manager was going to come back out and go over everything with me, and at that point the project would be complete based on the correction of any concerns. That didn't happen. He didn't come back out for an additional two days to pick up the material and hear our concerns. That was Friday, July 12, 2024. As of this writing, July 17, 2024, I have not heard back from him regarding any of the concerns. His last words were that he needed to talk to someone above him and that we would be in touch. He fully agreed this project is not complete.
Lies Lies lies
I will never recommend LHP to do any work on a person's home.
High pressure sales tactics. They pressure you into buying it then if you change your mind they say you have to give them 30% of the total price which was 3k for me so I was stuck buying something I didn't want. Worst home improvement company ever. I would never recommend them and would actually recommend people not to use them.
I would absolutely have long home back to do other projects for us. The entire process was smooth, seamless and exactly what we had hoped for.
They were very professional and did a good job.
I appreciated the presentation, knowledge of the products, Marlin didn't mind me asking questions & he answered all of my questions. The installers were very hard workers, professional, polite & respectful.
Overall experience with the company was great.
They did everything exactly as they said they would, and they completed the project in a timely manner and did good work.
It took them awhile to get to the job.
My shower rod was supposed to be mounted and it was a tension rod.
I think they did a wonderful job with the installation.
They did a very good job on my project.
Good communication, on time, job done properly.
