While we found that JMC Homes made the home buying process feel rather easy, we are currently experiencing some small issues in the home that we bought that I believe should not be occurring in a new model home purchase.
Debbie was great, she did more to help us, not just as a client, she treat us like her own family.
It was a smooth experience in purchasing a home and their homes are nicely built
I had a good experience with them. They were very accommodating, and they gave me the best closing cost. I got seller's credit and my first washer and dryer. They were very pleasant and nice to me. I'm happy, and very satisfied, and I will recommend them to all my friends. It's my first home, and it's a good place for me to build my family. I'm always excited to go home, and I also got my first job in the area. Everything worked well, and Jessie, the sales representative was a good man, very detailed, and very accommodating as well as the lender. I was very satisfied with what I got.
Why JMC Homes? - I really like the all inclusive price listed rather than a base price and charging for any upgrades and solar.
My friend who lives in JMC homes recommended me to check JMC built homes
Over all quality of home
I'm highly impressed with my JMC home because they have attention to detail and picked really nice designs that make my home very comfortable to live in. I would recommend a JMC home to all my friends.
From start to finish, working with JMC employees and partners has been such and positive experience! Also the quality, attention to details and follow up has made me a complete fan, and satisfied buyer of a JMC home.
JMC Homes has been really great to deal with, and they produce quality homes.
Why JMC Homes? - Quality is unmatched
The last new home we purchased was 45 years ago and I am sure a lot has changed so I have nothing to compare to. I don’t know how much of our experience was standard process in the industry but regardless I was very impressed with each JMC employee we encountered.
Why JMC Homes? - The floor plan, 3 car garage, solar included, high quality counter tops, kitchen & bathroom sinks, high ceilings, lots of windows.
Various issues with the home should have been resolved prior to us moving in (e.g., concrete cracked or missing in front of the home, the home street light didn't work - wiring not connected, poor paint jobs, and a host of other issues).
My new home is beautiful and the builder incentives were unbeatable!
My current group of friends are not interested in housing yet and those that are already own a home.
The builder is taking shortcut in achieving safety standards. For example, leaving a big gap under the garage service door instead of providing the proper ventilation for the garage. Complaint but was disregarded.
JMC answers all concerns that you might have.
Why JMC Homes? - The build quality and the craftsmanship are really good. JMC Homes also provide solar as part of their price for the home.
The house was turned over to us on the day of closing with significant visible deficiencies that still exist.
True
The quality is not satisfactory. The backyard screen door is already out of place and is missing a part, the sprinkler cover came out by itself without any reason, the smoke detector came out of place by itself without any reason. The a/c unit didn’t work and had to reach out to a subcontractor to fix it. It took him 4 trips to fix the problem and he mentioned it was not done correc originally by the builder.
no
Why JMC Homes? - Best in the market
The initial sales team is knowledgeable and easy to work with, also prompt with their replies. The “superintendent” and customer care representatives that are to ensure the quality, integrity, and service of the newly purchased home of issues would be addressed but it was clear during walkthrough not to bother the superintendent. During my first walk through there were still issues that were marked and haven’t been addressed, the reply I received was you still have your 30 day to address the same issues. The walkthrough representative was helpful and advocated for the items to be fixed but seems to be at the mercy of the contractors. There was a large hole between the kitchen cabinets and the “patch” was to nail a random wood plank. This is one (if not the biggest) major purchase for an individual and to treat the quality and service for a newly purchased home like buying product at a second hand thrift store is disheartening. Most of the JMC staff are overall courteous, and professional as a consumer the message being relayed is the compromise to save the company money by side stepping service and quality.
