We used Hometown about 8 years ago for a project and had a great experience so we hired them again recently for a second project. The experience the second time around was not good from start to finish. I agreed to an in home estimate that I thought was for a basement remodel. The gentlemen that arrived was only there to quote windows so he suggested we do the flooring ourselves and said that he'd have the handyman area reach out to give us an estimate on putting in a ceiling. That never happened. We told him a window wasnt working properly from the first project, he said the guy that came out to measure would look at it. That never happened. We signed the contract to purchase windows, but after he left, we didnt feel good about the price or the experience over all. We didnt hear anything for months, then someone called to schedule. Then jad to move it because of his scheduling mistake. The incorrect door was installed, no one could provide an itemized receipt for the project.
