Originally went with this company because was all in one-I made one call and they did it all. We had some initial install delays that they did not communicate well on, but after that they worked with us to fit our schedule. Install was quick and painless. You could not even tell from the inside this was a re-install. Outside was clean finished. Door is very solid.
They showed up on time, got the job done quickly, and there were no issues. For right now we are satisfied. We will see what happens with the quality in three months.
Home Fix did the work faster than I expected them to and cleaned up very well.
The workers were fast, professional & did not leave a mess on the day of the job. I was very pleased! I don't like the initial in person consultation. It's roo long and the consultant attempted to exert pressure thru typical sales tactics.
The starting crew was fabulous!! Windows and doors are amazing! However, they left us hanging on the last part, as the front wood continued to rot and never called back to schedule our appointment. Turns out they lost our contract. We kept calling and being transferred and leaving messages. We had already paid for this by the way.
There are some details that may have been avoided.
Our projects went smoothly, with hard working crew and articulate sales/office staff. All in all a pleasant and efficient roof and gutter replacement.
They worked well, I like it. They were very detailed, I am happy.
The workmen were courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient at work. Their products exceeded my expectations.
Very professional crew worked quietly, were polite, respected my furniture and floors, arrived on time and were finished by the anticipated time.
job started in october 2020, finished in march 2020. during waiting period there were incorrect measurement of window causing delays and misinformation provided by customer service rep keep saying window will be delivered in next week for 3 months straight everytime i called to check status. never received status update and i tried to bring this issue to David Ross which is suppose to be window and door manager - called and left many voice mails and emailed him multiple times and no response back. Not worth stress and head ache and dealing with non responsive staff and upper management system.
They did a great job installing the windows and trim! Came out beautiful!
Timely and professional
Antonio and his crew are awesome
HCR's skilled technicians did superb work. Communications with the company about a few details could be improved. But everything was worked out, and I recommend them.
They offer quality products but are over-priced.
They have great installers, but poor management and poor salesmanship.
They left large, sharp pieces of metal all over my yard. I have a toddler who is always running around our yard & now I worry for her safety. They also left a dent in one of window sills & then did a sloppy patch job. The installed the screen incorrectly which caused it to break when we went to fix it.
The workers got the work done in a timely fashion and did very well.
They were little pricey compared to other companies.
They provided excellent work and excellent customer service.
The representatives from the company from the person who wrote up the contract to the men who installed the entrance door (my project) were very professional and did an excellent job.
They did a very good job they were professional and cleaned up behind themselves. It was a quick and professional job and I would recommend them to family and friends. In the future, I will consider getting more work done.
The process of replacing the windows went very smoothly, from the initial visit to the actual install, even considering the minor delay due to Covid. The crew showed up early and was professional and efficient, with the entire process taking around 8 hours for 20+ windows. They even assisted me in rescuing a small window cling that my daughter forgot to remove. All in all, I am very happy with the work that was done, and will consider them for any work I may plan in the future.
I would have recommended the company until faced with the financing process. I was disappointed in the unfair predatory practices that they were associated with. The company practices predatory lending- my original intent was 0% for 4 years until next year/ most competitors do this and initially I was told this would be fine until lenders sent out the E-loan documentation for signature. The agreement mentioned I would have to have a Security Interest on my home. Before receiving this, they asked for the deed of my home and 2 pay-stubs. I felt targeted and I was a high risk for payments when in fact, I was not because my credit score and history is perfect. Asset based lending is their method, and their intent was to put a lien on my house. When brought to their attention, they had no other option for me with this particular lender. After I demanded another alternative, they provided me with another lender who did not require my deed. I spoke with the Sales Manager and CEO and they confirmed that a lien would be put on my property. This is unacceptable and unless I was cautious by reading all the fine prints, I would have put up my house as a collateral for a project that is not worth the value of my home.
GuildQuality partners with it's member companies to survey their customers and collect detailed feedback on their behalf. By administrating surveys as an unbiased third party we ensure that customers have the oppurtunity to express their true feelings about a project and that members get the most accurate and detailed feedback possible.
When a survey contains the "Review" question, that customer's answer will show up on the member's profile page as a public review. Members have the option to turn off reviews but cannot hide individual reviews. It's all or nothing. This means that any reviews you see on a GuildQuality profile page are real comments left by the customer and verified by GuildQuality.
Each item listed under "Customer satisfaction" represents a specific question asked by GuildQuality to customers of HomeFix Custom Remodeling DMV as part of our survey process. The bar graph and percentage next to the question stand for the percentage of respondents that were "Satisfied" about that particular question.
A customer is considered satisfied about about a question if they answered with 4 or more stars out of 5. For example if the "Communication" question is at 95% satisfaction that means that 95% of survey respondents answered that question with 4 or more stars out of 5 possible stars.More about surveys
