The teams were consistently at the place of work by roughly 8:30 am. They worked tirelessly throughout the day literally nonstop until roughly 7 pm each night having to drive back and forth to Richmond, VA (60 miles away). They were perfectionists and every turn and very informative throughout the entire project. Kudos to both Andrew and Daris for guiding the project and their insightful collaboration with me throughout. I definitely appreciated the two of you keeping me abreast.

Order process was easy. Installers, arrived hours early, immediately to work. Removal done with little mess. New windows in place quickly. Crew of two worked well together, cleaned up completely and showed me all about the windows

I was happy with the work, but I do have some concerns. The crew worked quickly, maybe too quickly because they didn’t remove some of the rotten siding. Instead, they installed the insulation right over it. I regret not pointing this out at the time, but the whole point of replacing the siding was to address those damaged areas. I felt disappointed because the job cost was $17000.

They did a very well designed door installation. Taking time to be accurate the first time.

I was stressed that I went with a company that knocked on my door without getting other bids. Was very relieved when everyone was friendly, very hard workers, moved in a timely manner and were communicative about schedules and clarifying and responsive to questions.

I just wish we didn't have to micromanage the project so much. I lost trust in the people that were working because of the lack of English making it hard to communicate and the feeling that they weren't doing honest work. I felt they were trying to not replace dry rotted wood.

I would recommend Home Fix they were on time and did a great job

When HomeFix took out the old, big, glass sliding door, they found out there was rotted wood due to a water leak. When I had a roof by another company, there was a problem that I didn't find out about until later on. The flashing between the wall and the home was taken out when they put the roof up. That is probably where the water came from. Everybody in the village has a flashing in their home because they are attached homes. HomeFix had nothing to do with it, and I'm so glad they found the leak and did the installation. It looks beautiful. I have a view here that I didn't have before because the old one was all fogged up and a mess. If I had known HomeFix existed thirty years ago, I would have had all my windows put in by them. That's how pleased I was with it. Another thing that really impressed me was that there was a foreman on the side supervising and watching to ensure the work was done right. I have never dealt with any company like that before. The company that did my roof ten years ago didn't have a supervisor. Therefore, I didn't see the issue until they left. I noticed something was missing, and when I looked at my neighbor's roof, I realized the flashing was missing. I would have never paid them until the flashing was up. That was a big company, and I paid a lot of money. Companies like HomeFix should be known to the public. You do this kind of stuff, and you'll be making good. People can come to me, and I will recommend HomeFix. HomeFix put my door in this year. I don't know why it was pulling away from the framework, but it was letting in cold wind. There was no water coming in, but I had to put a towel between the frame and the door. It was the door that was here when I moved in. Had I known, I would have never bought the place, or I would have made them fix it. We run into these things sometimes. HomeFix did a beautiful job. It was a bunch of guys putting it together, and the teamwork was a pleasure to watch. They didn't mind me sitting in the kitchen and watching them put it together. That was the nicest part. That is what teamwork is all about. When you work together, you get it figured out if there's a problem. I know they did a good job, and the supervisor even took pictures throughout the project. That's the kind of company I like to deal with because they care for the customer. When a company cares, it will have more customers because it builds up trust with the public. Those guys worked hard. It is the best company I've ever worked with. This comes from the bottom of my heart. If other companies had a foreman overseeing the crew, they wouldn't have any problems. That's very smart. I knew it was taken care of very well. I am very, very satisfied with what the workers did. They worked quickly and precisely. The foreman was there watching them and making sure they were doing the job right. You don't find that in other companies at all, and that's when you get shoddy work. HomeFix earned this praise, and I will recommend them. They will be top of my mind if anyone asks.
