job was done verry well thank you
The crew didn't protect the front bed & damaged a tree. I found some nails in my driveway
Our estimate was $12,000. Home Genius Exteriors ripped off the roof. They bumped the price up $6,100 more. That's 50% more than I was told. I think that's a lot. I don't know how you got from 12k to 18k. The inspector should know if there's damage or not and be able to give us a heads-up. After they tore it off, then they told me.
Home Genius Exteriors - Cleveland were fast and efficient.
Home Genius Exteriors - Cleveland was easy to work with.
The roof was very expensive, most people would probably shop for a better price.
I highly recommend and enjoyed the experience.

I like the fact that everything was done professionally step by step as I was told would be. I asked for text messages I got them I asked for pictures I got them. I didn't have to do any cleanup of any sort after everyone was gone.
Not totally disappointed. I'm not big on giving recommendations
At this time, I would not recommend Home Genius Exteriors. While the roof looks good from the front, I’ve already noticed lifted shingles on the back of the house, which is a serious concern and needs to be addressed. This should not be happening on a brand-new roof.
The bigger issue is the gutter system, which was improperly installed from the beginning. I am experiencing multiple leaks—including from behind the gutters, which should never happen. The installation flaws are serious enough that if not corrected, they could cause rot in the wood, mold growth, and long-term structural damage to my home.
The gusher guards were misaligned and completely ineffective, allowing water to overflow and pool around the foundation of the house. This creates a risk of foundation saturation and basement leaks—all because the system was not installed correctly.
Because of the severity and failure of this installation, I am requesting that the entire gutter system be removed and reinstalled from scratch, at no cost to me, and not by the same contractor. I want the work redone by a qualified, more professional crew that will install the system properly. This request is not unreasonable, especially considering I have video evidence documenting the extent of the water issues.
Additionally, I would like my skylight replaced with an operable model, as was originally discussed with Alec, the Home Genius Exteriors representative during the initial consultation. I was told I could receive a similar skylight that opens, and I agreed to proceed based on that assurance. On installation day, I was told that an operable unit would require a custom order—a detail I should have been told upfront. If I had known, I would have delayed the install and waited for the correct unit.
These issues—gutters, roof concerns, and the skylight—need to be properly resolved to restore my confidence in your company.
