We were first contacted by Joe Thompson, the sales person. He did an inspection and said the entire roof needed replacing. It was over 20years old. He was very clear to inform us of our options. He was not hard sell at all. He was patient and answered all our questions. Next Doug Stroh the owner came and finalized the deal and made it very clear what their responsibilities and our responsibilities were. His wife Tiffany called us with the scheduled date of install and they all made it clear what would happen and when it would happen. The crew arrived on time and did a great job of installing the roof and then cleaning up the area after it was over. Doug's Daughter Shelby and wife Tiffany kept us in formed of the state of the invoice. We had some problems dealing with our insurance. They were withholding some of the final money that they were supposed to pay. Doug's staff continued to correspond with the insurance and finally got the problems resolved. During that time they did not pressure us to pay our final amount. They were patient and did not request their final payment until the insurance problem was resolved. Everyone was extremely nice. There was a place on my chimney where the hardy board had to be removed to patch a hole in the roof from rot. Doug himself located the out of date hardy board and came and repaired the chimney after the roof was done. I could not ask for better service. I would recommend Gold Metal Roofing of ETN to anyone. Top notch company.
