Very professional service from start to finish. Creates a design based on your ideas. Changes in designs are easily made to make the project an affordable reality. Offers financing if needed. The project was seamless. The daily craftsmen were very professional and timely. Communication throughout the project occurred daily in person or by email. Overall great experience!
I wish I could give a higher rating because the end result is beautiful but the communication throughout the process was difficult. Not due to lack of response but rather not forthcoming with all the information. When it came to receiving and approving drawings, we had to request documents and when received, we’re just told to respond via email with questions without any discussion or walkthrough of the design. This later led to design oversights and disputes which the company did take ownership of but not without a lot of grief and categorized as a technicality rather than owning their moral and ethical obligation to do the right thing. Further communication of timelines and expectations ebbed and flowed and toward the end of the project seemed non-existent. Overall the project took 12 weeks due to delays in minor details that weren’t always communicated upfront. Like I said from the beginning the quality of work done by their subcontractors was great and we will enjoy our project for years to come.
Several items were not done correctly the first time and required revisions (some at our expense!) and all generating more mess and frustration. Because of these issues, the project greatly exceeded its timeline. The selection allowances built into the original estimates were unrealistic, which meant the budget was also exceeded to get higher quality materials/fixtures. We did thoroughly enjoy working with designer Kalee, who was very competent and professional, although our "on-site" project manager was rarely present and left a lot to be desired in many areas. Overall, we were not impressed with the attention to detail paid by the workmen in the master bathroom, in particular, especially the tile work. Although we are happy with the overall design, it took a lot of headache and money to get there, and it is still not perfect. This company has potential, for sure, but based on our experience, it's just not quite there yet for master bathroom renovations.
The carpentry work for the deck was good. The communication and follow-up from project management were terrible.

First State Building Design did a phenomenal job. They showed up on time and stayed until the work was done. My neighbors were asking for their card as they were doing the work because everyone liked what they were doing.
FSBD did a great job working through th project from Design to completion. The project went as scheduled and the crew assigned to the work was efficient, professional and friendly displaying a work ethic that I've only seen on rare occasions.
We are very happy with our new bathroom and it is really an amazing transformation. The communication about the project was excellent. Our only concern was that the final cost was much more than the initial estimate.

They are very understanding, reputable, friendly and kind people. They listen to you and your concerns. If there is anything you are not satisfied with they will come back and redo it.
I couldn't be more satisfied with FSBD. I've had alot of contractors in my life and I have to say FSBD they are the best. Everything went very smoothly. If something needed addressed they did with very little input on my part. I will have them back for more work.
