Price estimate before the work was less than final price. This was a small amount (+$100) on a small job so I am not concerned on this work. But, a 17% surprise increase on a larger job would be concerning. The work started on time, was done quickly and so far fixed the leak (1 light rain since fix). It is good to have a 1 yr warranty on the fix.

We had the privilege of being the first customer to get a class 4 roof installed by Echols Roofing and Renovations. The crew that did the work performed this job as if this was nothing new. They set up, tore off the old roof, installed the new roof, and removed all the debris easily in one day. The roof looks great, and because it is a class 4 roof it offers three distinct advantages that a typical architectural roof cannot. First, peace of mind because this roofing material can withstand hail up to two inches in diameter. Second, our insurance company offers a discount on our homeowner's policy each year because the roof can withstand up to two inch hail. Third, and this is a bonus we did not expect, the house is noticeably quieter inside. This type of single has an ability to reduce outside noise because it is thicker and is made with SBS modified asphalt.

We are thrilled with the look, the reduction of homeowners insurance cost year after year, and the unexpected outside noise reduction. We recommend this roof type and Echols Roofing and Renovations without reservation.
