They don't mess around. They were here on time, when they said they would be here to start. They were very cordial. The biggest thing was that they covered up my dads WW2 memorial that's on the front porch the first day. I knew then that we were going to get a long. They are a great company. I have nothing negative to say about them.
I was very happy when they came out and did the inspection. It was great to see pictures of exactly what was going on. It did however take several weeks for them to come out and get the job done. There was no communication during those weeks and I had no idea when the work would be completed. On the day they did the job they were all very nice and professional. They cleaned up and it seemed like they did a good job but honestly how am I supposed to know. There were no pictures this time around. That would have been nice. Overall a good experience and I would recommend this company.
The project started off well; the sales consultant was professional. He took time to take pictures showing me why my roof needed to be replaced, explained I had lots of dry rot that needed replacing, and walked me through the steps of the loan process, permit and scheduling. The service went downhill from there. I was surprised that the roofers and QC inspector said I didn't have any dry rot at all.
they did a great job and would recommend them
Yes i will.
It was a good job.
Communication was clear and constant from the beginning. My sales rep Mickey made the process clear and exciting, especially for a first-time homeowner. Installation was quicker than I anticipated once the permits were received. They were in and out in 2 days! The roof looks great and haven’t had any issues since then.
I was really pleased with the roofcap vents. I'm sure this will really help cool down our attic.
I would highly recommend Cobex Construction to everyone who needed a roof or repair. Cobex also offers other services..siding etc. They have a lot of experience and knowledge that is very helpful in understanding the process.
If course great company
Great experience!
They treated us poorly from start to finish and tried to scam us out of the work they agreed to.
I've already told everyone I know about Cobex and Junior. You guys are the best!!!! I also put a 5 star review up on google and yelp.
Excellent job done by all involved from the tear off crew to the roofing and gutter crew.
The group did great work. Communication was an issue.
Choosing a roofing company was completed after a face to face discussion with your salesperson and demonstration regarding construction of the roofing.
I was kept informed of the amount of dry rot found in plywood sheeting and how much more I would need to pay for supplies and labor.
Yes and I already have recommended them to several people.
these guys DONT MESS AROUND! Showed up and started on time, wasted no time taring off old roof.started out with Jason McBride, that Cobex representative is HUGE. Stuck by his word no excuses for what he could do or not do. Everything he said he made happen. focus on that asset right there he's a
huge asset , don't lose that guy.I recommended Cobex to 4 neighbors and 1 just had his roof completed by COBEX. see photos I posted on your Facebook page
They did a great job.
I paid 20 thousand dollars for what I thought would be a 50 year roof. The materials, per the manufacturer, are only rated for 30 years. Also, contractor tried to hide a water damaged part of my roof with new tar paper. I found the damage, pointed it out, and they repaired it
On time and quality work.
I thought they did an excellent job.
Well you guys said it would take four to five days to complete and it took you guys over two weeks and I asked for a discount so you guys gave $200 off price but I have to put your company sign on my lawn which I don’t mind so it’s like I had to do something to get something a fair deal would of bin $500 for two months
I will not recommend Cobex Construction Group to anyone if they do not fix the issues I have. The work was completed well, and I am happy with it. I am not happy with how they treated me as a company. I do not want someone to have to go through what I had to go through. My first issue was that they lost my $1,000 down payment check, and they called me up and said we lost your check. Then they continued to say, How do you intend to correct that? And I was thinking, Excuse me? They lost my check, and they want me to correct it. That to me just didn't settle well right up front. I questioned that a number of times, and I offered them a compromise on how to get their payment back that they lost and also how to move ahead with the job. And that was to cancel the check. Upfront, when I gave them the check, they wouldn't take credit cards; they wanted a check. And so that's fine. I wrote them a check, and then they told me they lost it, and then they called me up and asked me how I wanted to correct it, and I didn't feel that was my responsibility, but I told him one way it could be done was to have the check canceled and then have them take my debit card and then make payment with that. And so they went ahead and thought that was ok. When I went ahead to cancel the check, I found out that there's a $25 cancellation fee. So my response to that was, Are you going to pay that? I don't feel I need to pay that. And there was a big question mark as to whether or not who's going to pay us. So finally, they said we'll credit you the amount on your bill due. I said that was fine, so we moved ahead on that. Then came the actual issue of having the laborers come to the job, and this is the second point. Nobody spoke English, not a word. They were all Russian speaking, which was fine except that I had two or three points that were a concern to me that I had mentioned to the salesman right up front that I would discuss with their lead worker when the laborers came out, and they said that was fine. The only problem was that when the workers came out, no one spoke English. It was a very difficult situation to go through. I had two or three other minor issues that all required a translator to come on out and resolve the problem. That was a problem for me as well. The third and last issue was when the inspector came out to inspect the roof and he said it was fine. He said there is a requirement though that there has to be a carbon monoxide check and a smoke alarm check, and I have to sign it. So the paperwork was left on my porch, on the wall, and then no one ever finally came out to take care of that. So I called him up in a follow-up telephone call, explaining that this is an outstanding issue regarding completion of the job. And they said, Oh, we sent that in already and that I don't have to worry about it. I said yes, but it was specific that, as a homeowner, I had to sign it, and they said, Oh, we sent it in without your signature on it. They went ahead and accepted it. I had a real problem with that. I had a county official with a document that said the job was not complete until I certified the document. And then they chose to send it in without my signature on it. The whole infrastructure regarding the customer service is poor. It's not a well-oiled machine at all whatsoever. And I would not recommend a person go through that. However, the laborers were excellent. They did their job, and they did their job very well.
Definitely would recommend them. Very impressed with them.
