It was pretty pathetic! They came out on 11/05 and installed the windows on 12/13. They broke one of the windows, and there's a gap in the window in the kitchen. They broke the limestone slab on my window outside. I tried contacting Dallas, the installer, and he gave me nothing but promises that he doesn't keep. Nick, the salesman, keeps throwing the issue at someone else. I'm getting the runaround. All I hear is nothing but excuses, and nothing has been resolved!
Not until I get my replaced windows and screens
On time and good workers
The company provided poor service, a lengthy installation, and the project has not been completed!
It was great to work with them, they were very professional and polite and they answered all of our questions
They showed up on time and did a great job. They cleaned up after themselves and the end product is very nice.
No. Window sash was made backwards (Bronze grids half on inside and white grids half on outside). Poor quality control. Contractor left dirt on carpet from old window sashes, large globs of insulation foam on inside frame, knicks and scratches on drywall, dirt on hall carpet from shoes, and argued rehanging venetian blinds were against company rules, even though it was included in my contract. Inside worker tried to clean carpet spots with wipes, but insisted he did not do it. The lead (driver), Bill Stevenson, came in to rehang venetian blinds. Please note I have no issues with him. Inside worker was not respectful and denied he did anything. I was not told his name. I was told by Ashley from CIT and Kristian that I must sign "Installation Certification of Completion" stating I was satisfied with completed work in order to order a new and correct sash. As soon as I signed Competion form online, I was notified that a Champion window employee (Marvin) would come the next day to reverse glass and fix above noted items. He reversed glass on my bedroom floor instead of doing work in truck as promised by Kristian. When I confronted him about this he said Kristian doesn't know what she is talking about. He laid equipment on top of my bed, and cleaned carpet with WD-40 and Windex, which did not work. He did fix globs of insulation and patched items with spackling. After this I paid in full with a check and was instructed to give it to Marvin by Kristian. I still have not received appropriate receipt promised to be emailed by Kristian. I will never recommend Champion to ANYONE!
Since I can explain the method by which the estimate is presented, I can tell others how to obtain the lowest price quickly in lieu of listening to a stereotypical misleading format.
Install was grest.
...OR read my total experience in this survey. I even had to request (TEXT)the office staff to CASH the final Paid-in-FULL CHECK to close the deal....finally
I am very pleased with the quality of the work, and they do a very efficient job on what I want them to do to cut down noise and maintain temperate in my house.
We ordered the windows last June, with a promised arrival of September. We didn't get a call about the delay. They finally were installed in December.
I will not be recommending Champion to anyone. And at this point, because of the things I highlight below, I will be telling people to go elsewhere. I paid over $10K for windows and a storm door that the sales person said were the best out there. The last time it rained, I had a waterfall coming from one of my windows. "The best out there"??? That clearly was a joke.
I was very pleased with the honesty about the price and the quality of the work done in a timely manner.
I am very, very satisfied! My mother and neighbor used them, and finally, I got around to using them!
Communication between the customer and the company needs to improve.
The representative was very thorough and adhered to our budget without compromising Champions quality of product.
A little pricey but liked the product.
Mr. Saleh is always professional and is a very nice person. The installation went smoothly and the installer arrived on time also.
I would say the sales person did not fulfill his obligations and the company didn't follow up. I had to call them and then they did.
Very helpful in coordinating new gutter installation as well. Hard working, respectful crew. Cleaned up throughly.
The job turned out very well. The servicemen who came out here did a good job and were very polite.
The installers were very professional, doing the work tremendously well. They were quick and cleaned up professionally. Everything was in top shape after they left. I am very pleased. I would highly recommend them.
I am a current customer that ordered 10 color bond(black) slider windows. I want to give you a brief run down of the multiple issues we’ve had since the day we ordered.
6/29/21: Nick Blenke was our sales consultant who came into our home and sold us the windows. He took measurements of each window and assured all windows can be made to size, even the large three panel slider in the front of the house. We were told 8-11 weeks for lead time because we accepted the Flex install, but WOULD NOT go past that lead time.
7/9/21: Tom came out to field measure our windows and was VERY unsure of the dimensions, informing he has only done this for a couple months.
7/17/21: About three weeks later I receive a call from Nick informing the large slider window CANNOT be made to the size we need as an addendum would be needed to our contract. Even though Nick guaranteed the size could be made when initially selling us the windows. We accepted the size change in height by about 1”. This window is being installed today(10/21/21).
7/29/21: I received a text message from Kristian informing they needed to send out another technician to remeasure the windows. Freddy came out to remeasure all windows and noticed multiple issues with the original measurements and grid formation. He also made the suggestion to change the two smallest windows, bathroom and second kitchen window, to double hung as the aesthetics would not look pleasing if installing sliders at that size.
8/4/21: We receive another addendum from Nick for the two small windows changing to double hung instead of sliders.
8/9/21: I reached out to Kristian to make sure all was good to go with my order, since we’ve already had many hiccups in the process. He informed all was good to go and was waiting on confirmation for the two double hung windows. This means the other 8 windows should have been in production for a whole month at this point.
8/10/21: I receive another text massage from Kristian confirming all sliders were ordered and estimated they were to ship to installation on 9/13.
8/31/21: I sent another follow up making sure the double hung windows were correct.
9/8: Kristian just now texts back informing the first order(8 sliders) are working through the color bond process. Granted these are due to ship to installation on 9/13. He also informed the two double hung windows were due to ship towards the middle of October.
9/23/21: I send a message to Kristian asking for an install date on the slider windows. He informed the factory was finishing one slider window and would update upon receiving.
9/27/21: Again I reach back out to Kristian asking for an update on the final slider. He informed the factory is estimating ANOTHER 3 weeks before it finished through color bond process. (1 window taking 3 weeks for the color bond process?)
9/27/21: I send an email to Nick regarding all the issues, setbacks and awful communication. He leaves me a VM giving the generic runaround of “covid and supply chain issues”. I understand this to a point as I’m a PM in the construction industry and deal with it daily. He then proceeds to say the biggest issue is the awful communication.
10/7/21: I reach back out to Nick as I haven’t heard anything back regarding the status of our windows/install. I then receive a call from Tyler, informing they are sticking to the initial lead time of 8-11 weeks. Well we were at that timeline given all the dates above. He then realizes that as well and informs he will have an answer for me on Tuesday.
10/12/21: I reached out to Tyler late in the day as I didn’t hear back from him. He informed he has 7 slider windows ready for install. The other slider(kitchen)and two double hung windows, are missing and/or broken, he wasn’t sure. I was never notified of this issue happening as I expected all windows to be completed at this point. Install of the 7 slider windows was set for 10/21/21.
10/21/21: Installer John and crew came out. They were very respectful and walked me through the entire install process. The windows came with the incorrect grids but was assured install can still happen and Champion will replace/fix the grid issue. They begin install on the windows and have the first one installed(not completed). I walk into the room and notice the window is short in width and height by about ½” to 1”. I then made the decision to halt install as the windows were not correct in size after being measured TWICE. The new windows were smaller than the old windows(Champion windows as well) as they looked terrible, not to mentioned the grids that look like prison bars. All coil was taken off the old windows and now is being spray foamed to protect the exposed windows and insulation. The large slider window was installed and is acceptable(doesn’t look great with having to use extra vinyl to cover gaps, not installers issue).
As you can tell from the timeline above, my wife and I are very aggravated. We went with Champion as you all do have a good product/warranty and our old windows were Champion. The remeasuring, lack of communication, lead times, and now incorrect product is making us rethink our decision of using Champion as well as promote to family and friends. Now, with 9 windows having to be remanufactured, we are NOT waiting another 8-11 weeks to have these installed. We signed a contract at the end of June to have these windows installed before fall/winter. All of the troubles we have been through and still actively going through, I believe we should be receiving some type of additional discount. The windows that have to be remanufactured need to be expedited as quickly as possible as we have exposed windows from the exterior. We are very dissatisfied the way Champion has handled our order and now trying to install incorrect windows(not installer issue). Please reach out to me, cell number below, as soon as possible so we can discuss additional discounts and the plan moving forward. I look forward to hearing from you.
The sales manager is very nice.
It took forever, and some craftsmanship was no up to standards.
Installation part was good; the sales process and pricing wasn't the best
The Manager was very friendly & informative. The workers were also friendly, on time & very conscientious about their work.
They did an excellent job.
Windows are fantastic. Old windows we’re drafty and we’re difficult to open and close. New windows operate with ease and they retain the inside temperature summer and winter. Great investment
I liked the product that Champion has, I just didn't care for the installers
Rodney provided expert advice and helped me pick exactly what I needed. He explained the manufacturing and installation process thoroughly, and before I knew it the factory called right as scheduled and a few days later new door and windows were installed and look great! The precise and careful installation along with quality material and excellent service and warranty have convinced me that this was a great purchase decision and I’m enjoying the comfort of my house with no more drafts from the cold weather that’s here now! Next time I need anything I’m not going thru the multiple quotes hassle - I’m going straight to Champion!
I liked the product. The installation was a problem. What was sold, was not preformed. They had to come out four times to get the work done, with the final touches.
We have already recommended Champion to everyone who has seen the window
From the sales presentation, to the installers, to the quality of the bow and bay windows, we could not be HAPPIER with this purchase. My wife wanted to go with Gilkey, but we are so glad we went with you.
I had champion windows and sliding door in my home and I loved them. That is why I choose Champion again to replace some of my windows in my condo now. I like the lifetime guarantee attached to the sale and the quality of the product. And the thing they r made right here in Cincinnati. Would recommend Champion Windows to anyone.
We have used Champion Windows of Cincinnati for my last two houses, that included installation of windows and a sun room. I am very pleased with the quality of their work. I would recommend the company to anybody, and I already have.
Great experience. The two individuals who built our sunroom were amazing. Always informed us of when they would be there, where they were in the process, what was needed and when from us, and estimated time for completion. They were efficient, clean, neat, and knowledgeable. Our sunroom is beautiful. It turned out exactly as we had hoped! We would definitely use them again!
Our salesman Steve was great, very knowledgeable about the products and we were very thankful for that because this was the first time we had ever purchased new windows. The installation crew was considerate in watching out for my cats and they did an excellent job overall!
Our windows look beautiful. I didn't realize what a difference they made. We notice the difference in the amount of draft in the first evening.
The installers were very professional and highly skilled.
Our salesperson Chris was very prepared, helpful, and friendly. The install team was friendly and efficient. Windows look great! Looking forward to getting my screens when they come in. Very satisfied!
We had all new windows placed in our nearly 100 year old home (28 windows in total). The crew did a fabulous job with some framing reconstruction to bring all of our widows flush with our new siding.
They did a good job, they were quick, and everything went smoothly.
They were efficient and neat.
Experience was seamless. From the initial consultation through the install process.
They did an excellent job.
Champion Windows of Cincinnati did a great job and even showed up before their scheduled time.
I have used them before and all is fine.
Everyone including the crew, was very professional. Their actions were very commendable.
