Excellent service!
Lots of door options to pick from and like how it is manufactured in USA
Prices and customer service
Get a install manager who follows through with installation issues without the customer having to visit the headquarters location to file complaints.
Home improvement projects can be very costly and are a considered purchase. Champion explained the various options and discussed available discounts and financing options. Installation was conducted professionally and the crew was great. Follow up call/visit after installation was appreciated to make sure there were not issues.
Quality workmanship. A pleasant experience.
Did good
The crew was great! Josh and Robby were very nice, friendly and answered my questions and assured me of my concerns and needs. Dan and Scott (managers) were very attentive and easy to communicate with. They kept me in the loop and assured me of anything I needed or asked.
The sales guy was nice but one of my windows was installed incorrectly and it wasn’t noticed until days later when we tried to open it. You guys came back out and said it needed to be replaced but we didn’t hear anything else after. I called today and it’s going to be 8-10 weeks to get a replacement in? That is longer than the initial timeframe for the first set of windows! We’re waiting to sell our house until the window is replaced because where I live people use FHA/FDA loans and a broken window cannot qualify for that type of loan, and with the replacement being almost 3 months away, we’re **months** behind being able to list our house because of your mistake and bad installation and unwillingness to expedite a replacement. And I can’t talk to anyone that can help unless they call me within 72 hours? We should have never went with you all for our windows and we never will again.
In proper measure and install
Price was very high (double) cost that neighbor paid for full front door replacement.
Straightforward. Facts. Information. Questions answered. Been an inspector in highway and bridge construction for 40 years. That’s what I need.
Sales guy was very greedy. He was hoping we would do all 20 windows and 3 doors, and I told him I wanted to slowly do window by window at a time, and we greet on what windows wanted to be place, he fill out the paperwork wrong so when the guy came out to measure the windows, he didn't tell us what windows, he measured out and when the first time install guys came out to install the windows, the wrong windows, then I told the install guy, those were the wrong windows and his response was well I would just tell them to leave my house and I'm like, wow, to get to work done. we seeing the paint finish was wrong, damage extra glue in between the glass. I called customer service and told them what happened and the lady said, I'll get out of sales manager and I just got ghosted and then I decided to contact attorney journal, they were no hope. Champion Windows send me a letter, threaten me to keep my money and not help fix the problem and take our money away from us and not help and fix the problem until I say to surface lady Ican get the news involved, then I got a call from somebody and now they trying to fix their screw up.
Professional, quality products, quick turnaround.
I like the products. The process needs improvement, especially went manufacturing messed up...
Wrong glass was installed on door and the door stain did not match the sample I was given. Its unfortunate there are zero samples of stain on fiberglass or a showroom where I can see it, esp when what is printed on paper is not the same as stained on a door. I also wished there was a program to show my renderings before I purchased, like some of your competitors do.
Length of time from ordering to getting installed seem long
Windows have scratches and black tar like stuff that won't come off
Josh and Robbie were excellent to work with
We appreciated the effort to complete the project in a timely manner, concern for details and cleanup around our yard, and keeping us informed of the progress and the schedule.
Good presentation, good prop product. And also , the personnel were very informative and kept me abreast on the production of our product , all around a great great program
Not the door I thought I had signed for poor installation messed up my new painted walls can’t hardly open the entry door and screen door doesn’t close right….it slams shut and the glass will eventually break poor quality of entry door and storm door wished I had gone somewhere else. Trust me my mouth will do a great job of negative advertising. Champion will go out of business !!!!!
Let’s see… the installers were not given all of the pieces to our windows that we were not told about. We had to wonder why our windows were showing 27 degrees at the sides. We have cracked wood and also a box cutter cut the wood on the front of the house, they are supposed to replace the wood and hopefully will do so, however we have to paint it. We also had to caulk, on our own, cracked wood by other windows that was damaged during the install. The windows are smugded and streaky and were not wiped clean.
The sales rep was very informative. I was comfortable with his recommendations. I ended up purchasing all 10 windows. The crew arrived on schedule and kept the work area clean and organized. They worked quickly. When they left, the only clue to show they had ever been in my home were my brand new windows.
Window is very nice but the way the installers finished the trim was not quality work very disappointed
See below.
Better Installers.
.
I liked the clear and straightforward process. Everything went smoothly and as planned.
They wanted to sincerely find me a great solution for my window replacement, and followed that all the way through the entire process. Install was fast and professional, with them leaving my house cleaner than it was before install
We had Champion install windows and had a great experience. The sunroom has been a severe disappointment. The communication, the management of the project and subs (or lack thereof) has created numerous ongoing issues that still aren't resolved. Basically, the only consistent communications has been the ongoing request for money. Extremely disappointed. We moved from a net promoter to a detractor of Champion services.
Representatives were very helpful with any questions we had
Services and installation was great and done quickly and perfect
The sales man wrote up the contract stating the measurements and he said my awning would resemble the one in the picture in the picture.
I signed the contract in September. They came out in January the day before the predicted 6 inches of snow fell and cut off the front part of my roof and left. They returned 2 days later in 3 degree weather to put the awning on and then finished it her next day. I was on vacation in Florida and my husband had to work part of the time however Champion told me no one needed to be home. When they “finished “ I was asked to pay the remaining 2800 and sign a completion document. I had the supervisor come out to my house to point out the following issues;
1. The awning slanted way down and was 6 foot 8 inches at the lowest part. I could easily reach the gutter. He told me I agreed to “approximately” 7 foot and they were not going to fix it for 4 inches. I requested he ask his boss about it.
2. There was a 1.4 inch opened gap in the soffit between the awning and the house leaving a space for weather and insects to enter.
3. They put 2 small dents in my siding.
4. They left my yard a muddy mess and debris I cling metal pieces and torn off pieces of shingles in my yard.
5. The neighbors said they used a blow torch on my roof.
6. I plan to get a roofer to inspect this work.
David Schmitz from champion said if I paid the remainder he would make a service agreement in exchange for me signing the agreement. The agreement stated they would raise it to 7 foot 6 inches He said I had to allow them to do the work in the first 2 weeks of January even though I asked for it to be done in the spring. I paid $28000 for this mess. I hade champion do work for me and my family in the past so I am very upset.
I emailed Davis d 2times for details on how the repairs would be made with no response.
The installation team was polite, skilled and efficient. They didn't play loud music like some other installers, which was nice since I was home with my toddler and 2 cats, who were already a bit on edge with the installation noise. They arrived within the estimated start time early in the day, even though it was a terribly cold day.
Ordered storm doors on 7-24-25. Put down payment of $632., told salesman we would pay balance when door installation was completed. Although contract stipulated otherwise, salesman assured us paying upon completion would be okay. After months of attempting to reach personnel at your facility, we visited in person. We issued a check for the amount required to get job completed. On October 20, two doors were installed. They were not the doors we ordered. Installers came on December 18th but doors did not fit in opinion of installer. Installers returned on December 19th with correct doors.
Sales process was easy and straightforward, installation was quick (less than a day for half a house), and we got exactly what we expected with no surprises or headaches. The windows look great!
Job was not done to the scope of the contract. Left unfinished and unsatisfied.
Everything went according to plan.
Product with warranty
Price was good value, the warranty is amazing. Communication once we signed the purchase agreement was not good. Installation got pushed way back from what we originally discussed and there were no updates regarding this. I had to reach out multiple times and didnt even get updates until installation called to schedule. Things don’t always go as planned and I can deal with that but there’s no excuse for not communicating changes clearly and timely. Also, I was disappointed the trim installed didn’t match my door and I had to paint it. That was a an unwelcome surprise.
good personnel, very professional. Products good
give a quote that is good for a couple of days so there is no buyers remorse.
Read the 1 star reviews they tell exactly how this company operates.
I feel your prices have going way over what would be normal inflation
We had our original champion garden window for only twelve years when the outside seal failed. At the time, we paid over $2200 for it. It was sold with a lifetime maintenance free guarantee. When we put a claim in for a repair or replacement, we were then told, no you should have called us out every year and paid to have a technician inspect the window to keep your warranty. On your website, you still advertise the garden window as maintenance free. The new window cost us $5600, no consideration given on a price break, even though the lifetime warranty should have been honored. So no, we are not happy at all.
The installation went smoothly; there was no mess; schedulers accommodated our needs.
