The bow window in the living room and the exterior door in the sunroom are excellent. We are very happy with those. HOWEVER, the eight double casement windows for the sunroom were made-up in the wrong color, so they were not installed. We are still waiting for those to be made and installed.
I’ve been left feeling frustrated and disappointed with Champion Windows. The meeting with the sales person went great and gave me the impression that this company offered top quality product and top quality service. My impression was wrong. The contract said it would take 10 to 12 weeks to produce the doors that I had ordered and paid for, at the 10 week mark, I had to call them myself for an update. At which point, I was passed around from person to person before finally being told “the doors aren’t ready yet, I will let you know when they are”. In my opinion, they should’ve taken the opportunity to go ahead and put me on the schedule for installation three weeks out, which would be past the 10-12 week production period. They finally called to schedule installation (five days past the 12 week mark), and I was put on the schedule for a Monday two weeks in the future, first thing in the morning. That Monday, about 15 minutes past the arrival time, no one had shown up nor had I received any text or phone call communication with regards to their arrival. I took it upon myself to make phone calls to the three different contacts I had been in touch with in the past, none of whom answered or return my calls. I had to go through the general customer service and wait on hold for several minutes before being passed around to a couple different people who eventually made a call to someone who didn’t answer his phone so they left a message for me. 45 minutes later the man still hadn’t given me a call, so I called customer service again, waited on hold for several more minutes, spoke with another representative, who said the man I needed to speak with was on another call, but would call me back immediately. Regardless, this time I made sure to get his direct number myself. After another 30 minutes of waiting (which was now two hours past the promised arrival time), I called the man myself and finally got a hold of him. To my question of where the crew was that was promised to install my doors today he responded “well they accidentally put the wrong order on the truck and are doing a different house this morning and it’s too late to get them to do your doors today. I’m going to have to reschedule you for Friday”. Friday the men arrive to do the install. The doors go in they do a mild sweep of a 4 foot radius around the door but debris and dust is still left all over my kitchen and all over my stairs which are by the front door, so they were definitely not what I would consider cleanly. There were also large pieces of old door frame left in my yard with nails in it that my puppy noticed before I did and tried to play with them. Lastly, when they went to caulk around the frame, they ran out of caulking, but assured me somebody would arrive on Monday, the next business day, to finish the job. No one arrived on Monday, or Tuesday, I finally called them on Wednesday only to discover that the color of caulking that matched my doors was out of stock so I would have to wait until it finally came in. I received a call about a week later to schedule the finishing of the caulking. That is slated to “supposedly” happen three days from now. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
The Team at Champion did a great job completing my Sunroom on time and great quality workmanship
From beginning to end, all of our issues/questions were taken care of during the purchase and installation.
Great experience with Champion. A little pricey, but worth it.
The communication was terrible, they don't respond to give you updates on your project. They was not nice to me they didn't return calls they made many errors of the job. They did not even try to resolve when I filed a case against them they did not cooperate with them.
I would say it was impossible to get in touch with them regarding the windows.
The sales representative was very knowledgeable about his product and explained all features and benefits thoroughly. He was friendly and easy to deal with. Everything he told us was exact as he said. The installation team was great as well, hard working and cleaned up any of their mess.
Highly recommend to anyone needing windows. The process was very smooth and the windows are fantastic.
They were on time. They were clean and neat. The windows were beautiful.
Installer was unable to complete job and was going to report to office to see that someone else would come to complete. Nothing has happened and no inquiries as to the problem have been made.
They came in quietly, efficiently, and cleaned up very well!
I ordered a storm door in June. It is now the end of October and I still don't have it.
I had a very difficult time getting ahold of them. They were behind schedule because of COVID and we weren't told of all the work that needed to be done. I had to spend more money from outside source to fix the inside of house. They didn't complete the work and we've called 4 times to complete it and we've never gotten a call back. We are still waiting. It was very expensive and I paid everything in full. I'm getting very poor service in return.
They failed to communicate. One job was done within one month and the other job has yet to be completed.
They need better project management, coordination, and communication.
I was promised that everyone would wear a mask. The first installer came to my door without a mask and I asked him to put one on and he said he did not have one. I offered him a mask and he said he did not have to wear one. I spoke with customer service and they said they were supposed to wear mask. When he heard me talking to the office he started yelling at me and degrateing me. I called management and they said they would send another crew out. Three weeks later they show up again without a mask. I called the office again and asked why they sent someone that was not wearing a mask and was told that they can't make them wear them. The third crew came wearing masks. Champion claims they don't use contractors but I was told by the office they can't make them wear mask because they do not work for them, they are contractors. If the contractors can't obey the law they shouldn't work for them.
We are extremely please with the outcome of the product but dissatisfied because I had to initiate all of the communication throughout the process. Once they took my downpayment I had to contact them regarding everything that happened.
I have used them twice for windows and once for siding. I have been satisfied everything.
They work very quickly. I like the finish of the work.
I recommend Champion Windows of Cincinnati to everyone. I am really happy with their services and products.
They came out and did the job, there were a few issues so I thought I got a bad deal! They ended up coming out to make it right for me!
Well, I have outfitted my entire home with your products ; and, while I am satisfied with the product, I do not like the sales price shenanigans. For instance. We both know that one door should not cost over 4000 bux. You remind me of the Kirby vacuum cleaner man who initially priced the vacuum at 1600 bux , but eventually sold it for 250. Additionally, I recommended Champion to my friend Brenda Huff. She ordered a huge....room for the rear of her home....over 50,000 bux, I think. She had her initial contact with Champion at the home and garden show in February, 2020. She was told that you would start erecting her room in JULY. It is now practically October, and you've done nothing in her rear yard. She has reportedly called you multiple times and NOTHING. She told me that in order to cancel , you keep a huge chunk of her money. Believe me when I say that she would probably like to try someone else at this point. Please do not blame COVID 19 for this. EVERYONE is passing the buck onto COVID. I feel betrayed by you. It makes my friendship with MS. Huff awkward since I recommended you.
They tell you one thing on delivery on when it starts, they sell you the stuff, and you never hear from the salesperson again. From the time I made my downpayment it was supposed to be four months and it wound up being 6 and half with repeated calls.
