Product is good but installation in which we are still troubleshooting is poor. For price of the windows, would expect higher quality experience.
Have used Anderson and Pella before and wanted to try Champion.

The front door has been a challenge to say the least. We decided to go ahead with Champion because they were a local company and had what we thought was a good reputation / product but turns out it was a disaster.
We signed the agreement to purchase the product on 2/23 and decided to use Greensky for the 0% financing. All was good at this point. We were verbally quoted 8-10 weeks for the door and on our agreement 14-16 weeks. This was good too. Where it all went bad was when we called on 5/12 and spoke with Brett to only find out our door wasn’t even in production (no material was ordered) and we had no estimated time for completion. This was 11 weeks after we signed the door contract. To this point we had only been charged the down payment which tells me the material had not been ordered. On 5/12, a couple hours after my call, we were charged for the order of manufactured materials.
Another call was made on 6/24 to Brett to get an update and we were told that the door would be completed sometime around the end of August. I called our sales person Jeff to have a conversation with him to find out what happened. He stated he was unaware of any issues with the door except the transom window extended the lead time 1-2 weeks. At the time of this conversation we were at week 17.
Spoke with Jeff again on 6/26 to express our displeasure with this, he had a conversation with the factory to try and get answers. No real answers were given except the transom was special and could not be made in house, this extended the lead time now by 1-3 weeks.
Received a call on 7/29 that our door was ready for install and wanted to install the next day. Door install was scheduled me for 7/31 between 8-10am. We had some storms roll through for about an hour and the installers left never to return. Called Jeff to let him know what happened with no returned call. Tyler called to reschedule for the next day, we weren’t happy they couldn’t install the same day - rain was gone by 10:30am and they could have installed the door. Door was installed on 8/1 with several issues - transom window had issues being installed and they had to cut several pieces of plywood to get it in and to fit properly. The door was bigger than the opening and they had to cut more to get it to fit. The molding around the inside of the door does not match the molding that was removed and needs to be fixed. The top of the molding is not caulked completely and needs to be done.
To sum up our experience, we are very disappointed and will probably never use Champion again. The poor response from the office to the sales person doesn’t work when spending this kind of money. We were told that the transom was special and that’s what held up production but there are 1,000’s of Ryan Homes all over this city and in the Champion sales territory, this was for sure not the first one that you had like this. The door took 22 weeks to be manufactured with very little communication or heads up from ANYONE at Champion. We had to call to get updates. If there was a mistake made in the process, it’s much easier to tell us that than give us non-answers as we were given all along.
We would appreciate a scheduled call to go through all of this to figure out what can be done for the issues we’ve had during this process. The amount of time wasted chasing Champion around to get very little answers is unacceptable. We believe some sort of compensation needs to be presented for all of the issues along the way and look forward to hearing from someone to discuss.

Thought we were getting custom windows for our 3 season room but they were 3 inches shorter than original windows after they had to but a 2 by4 at the top of each wind and a 1 by 4 at the bottom. Was not happy about that at all. However, the installation team that finally came the 2nd time to install the windows and doors did an excellent job. Was very happy with them. We have had our whole house windows replaced by Champion as well as our basement windows. We have spent a lot of money into using Champion and this time we were a little disappointed.
Windows work great and they helped when I had a problem with a window with no questions asked.
Door originally arrived in 4 to 6 week window but it was 2 to 3 inches too long, this is after Champion measured twice. It took another 8 weeks for the door to be remade. No follow up by Champion even after several inquiries to understand a new installation date. Installation team was less than responsive, very disappointed

My wife and I are very happy with the finished product.
It took 9 months and 2 attempts to have our 2 entry doors installed with numerous frustrations, lack of communication, poor customer service and poor responsiveness after the first install of incorrect doors. When trying to contact Champion after the first doors were installed it was very difficult to actually talk to a representative-took numerous attempts through various methods (Facebook attempts were never acknowledged), experienced rude and not helpful customer service persons. Amanda finally helped. After doors were installed correctly (9 months after placing the order with the sales rep), completion team was very persistent in reaching out (via phone calls/emails and texts)to receive final payment-ironic that when Champion wants money there are no issues with communication.
The guys worked really hard on a very hot day and were very careful not to mess up the rest of the house and cleaned up their mess when they left. I just have a minor touch up that I hope they will come back to finish
Always do a great job, high quality
I have had a bad experience!, the windows and sliding glass door were delivered and installed and we noticed there was a sticky substance on the windows and the sliding glass door that is extremely difficult to get off because it is very hard when it dries. Champion had to order all new window panels and the entire glass door. There was also a dent by the handle on the sliding glass door. The substance is said to be the product the factory uses to hold the seal in around the inside of the glass panels. I also had three places where the trim wasn’t cut correctly, the installer has come back and fixed those areas but wrongly cut trim should not have ever happened or should have been corrected with entire new pieces as the installation was taking place. We are currently waiting on the new window panels and the entire sliding glass door to be produced and then Champion will replace all of them. I would have a hard time recommending Champion for a sunroom installation at this point.
Quality, workmanship, professionalism
Sales rep was outstanding. Listened to our needs and offered solutions. Final measurements guy was friendly and in and out quickly. Installer was friendly and professional and went out of his way to keep construction debris to a minimum. But there was a problem with two screens not fitting right. Our customer contact assured us that would be resolved. Within a week, a team was on site to replace the screens. The window screen fit correctly; the door screen didn't. Had to order another one. As of now, it has been just about two months since our installation and, despite many, many, many phone calls to Champion, we still don't have a screen door that fits.

Your customer service is pitiful. Tried using the phone numbers provided and left voicemails and have yet to hear back. The installation was completed but 3 of the windows are hard to open 1 doesn’t open. Called to try and schedule a time for the repair and they don’t provide you with that phone number. Your company would like for you to do these surveys when the job has yet to be completed.

The installation has only been partially completed but Champion has billed me fully already. I am concerned I will need to now chase Champion to complete the remaining installation.

The salesman was terrific! I didn't like being pressured by the scheduler to install windows when the weather dropped to teens - ALL my heat went out the openings that day while me and my grand daughter sat bundled up trying to stay warm. The process became mixed afterwards though. Installers were polite, courteous and hard working. One window was not measured properly so it had to be remade. Half the screens were not aligned properly and left gaps at bottom. Bathroom window had to be propped open with a shampoo bottle.
Salesman was awesome and knowledgeable. Storm door was manufactured backwards. Other thsn that I would recommend.

Communication at every step of the process was lackluster at best. Was told by Camille in our initial consultation that he would come back for a final walkthrough after the windows were installed. This didn’t happen. I was also told in the initial consultation that install could not happen before the first week of June. Our windows ended up being installed on April 24. I was told by Tyler the installation manager that this would be a one day job. It was two days. When installation was scheduled, I was told that I needed to make 2 payments because they had never reached out at the time my windows were being produced in the shop. When I requested a walkthrough because 2 of my windows were scratched and 1 had poor caulking, I was told I would receive a follow-up confirmation phone call or text from Scott. This did not happen either. Many people across the company dropped the ball on communication which, in my opinion, is huge when it comes to customer service. I ended up on the phone with them more times than I should have because of faults of their own.
Very disappointed in install. Shoddy install, poor workmanship, overall disappointing experience. At least a dozen issues had to be resolved by either a repair by me or replacement by you. Unbelievable that a company like yours would leave a job in the sad state it was and expect people to accept that poor quality of work for the price paid, absolutely ridiculous
