We asked them to wait--it's too hot for them to go up into our ceiling to get it done. We don't want them to do that when it's a million degrees. That's the only thing we need to do.

I got several estimates to replace my HVAC system and most of the companies didn't even do a thorough inspection before giving me a quote. CECS spent time looking at what I had and talked to me about my options to meet my budget. The costs for my systems was a lot less than the others and they did a great job installing it that SMUD gave me more of a rebate than expected because they exceeded SMUDs requirements. I would highly recommend using CECS.

We had a very good experience with California Energy Consultant Service (retrofit windows was the main scope). We feel comfortable recommending the company to family and friends.

There were quite a few issues that came up but they got resolved to our satisfaction.

Everyone of the contractors that came to the house was professional and respectful of our home. They did a wonderful job explaining everything to us, and cleaned up like they were never even in the house.

California Energy Consultant far exceeded our expectations The siding was done by "Artists", true master craftsmen. The new roof was completed within 3 or 4 days and they put finishing touches on, on a Sunday! The house is so airtight now, over a 30% improvement of when we started. The windows and doors are beautiful, and what a pleasure it is to have screens. We have a brand new house to come home to!

Great company. I am very satisfied with the work that was done and the results of the work completed. I had a new HVAC unit and attic sealing and insulation done. Work was completed in a couple of days and happened exactly as I was told it would happen. The guys that did the work were great. Kept the area clean and safe. I had my curious 11 month old son checking out what they were doing and they were careful to watch out for him while letting him observe. I will definitely use these guys again when I'm ready to have my windows replaced and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to do energy upgrades for their home.
