The materials used in the home are cheap and I would be surprised if they last more than a few years. Light switches were not thought out and the functionality of the house doesn't flow.

Not all of my warranty issues were resolved.
One of the support columns on my back porch is sitting about 2 inches off the slab. I tried twice to have the issue resolved and both requests were rejected.

An overall poor/terrible experience. Limited communication once earnest money was received, ongoing delays prior to ground breaking for which Ashton Woods took no accountability, lack of knowledge/information pertaining to utility providers or HOA for the community upon closing, and for all our trouble what did we receive??? a home that didn't even appraise for the "discounted" price we got it for.

Mary Ann was a tremendous help during the buying process. Even though there were difficulties she was able to manage it and be able to keep us as well informed as she could of the ongoing situation. She spent countless hours talking to us on the phone..
Also during the buying process Ross went out of his way to ensure that everything that we requested was done perfectly. Everything we presented himeitj he made the necessary corrections to exceed our expectations.

I am not completely satisfied with the build of the home. Some of the interior walls are not flat and outlets do not align to the center of the wall.
I have submitted a work order for the AC unit, which resulted in some improvement, but unit is still a nuisance at the initial start up.

We had an amazing experience with taylor, who ultimately sold us our house but we almost went with another builder entirely after meeting with charlotte. She was extremely dismissive and honestly rude until we told her how much we were willing to spend.

Communication and friendly

The service and customer satisfaction provided by AW has been incredible. They have made the process of home buying to building to delivery very smooth. I appreciate the AW's commitment to providing construction updates to delivering home on the committed date. It seemed intimidating during certain stages of home building, but I always felt they had my back and knew the AW would do the right thing. I am very happy with the home AW has built us and I cannot recommend enough to my friends or anyone who is in the market for a new home! My positive review would not be complete without giving credit to Cody who is extremely knowledgeable, dedicated and who has demonstrated five-star customer service.

Reasons likely to do so: Quality of home, features included in new home construction, and excellent rapport with the builder's rep Jarrod Heinatz during construction and during the first year of ownership.

The sales person was very unprofessional and not very communicative. She made me a favor of selling the house rather than me, was her words. The sales person and realtor were not really good. Overall, the project manager and the warranty people that were part of the warranty were good.

The home is good and we love it.

The house itself is nice. However, the customer service and warranty after the sale leave a lot to be desired. I have made requests for repairs to be made. It has been a year and I am still waiting.
