Saltwater Homes did a wonderful job building our spec home on the Isle of Palms. I think the biggest positive... the house was finished on time. In the building world, that goes a long way. We are already building house #2 with Saltwater Homes and hope that it will continue to be a long term relationship!

We had a very good experience working with Saltwater Homes while building our home last year. Everyone was very professional but also warm and personal and encouraging to us through out the process. Lane was always positive and available to help walk us through the initial processes of obtaining a plan and getting permission from our neighborhood architectural review board which can be very confusing and frustrating to a first time builder. They made it a smooth process for us. I was so impressed with their quick responses to our many questions and concerns - they were so careful to explain all of the pros and cons of the various decisions encountered in building a home. Scott James was our primary project manager, and he was very quick to respond when we contacted him throughout the process. Scott also paid very close attention to even the smallest of details and this really made a difference in the quality of our home. He went out of his way to make sure we were happy and satisfied with the various steps along the way. We are so pleased with the final result! I would highly recommend Saltwater Homes to anyone.

I would recommend Saltwater Homes to anyone & everyone. They may not be the cheapest builder but you pay for what you get. The professionalism of these guys was phenomenal. The horror stories that I have heard from other people building houses using different contractors never materialized. Lane & Wade actually made this a fun & enjoyable process !!!

Where Saltwater really shines, I was never out of touch with my project manager Scott James. There was never a period that I didn't hear back from him when I had a question. Communication is so big, and they always made me feel like my questions were important to them. They helped me understand on my level exactly what was happening. They have excellent workmanship, especially their trim work. They far exceeded my expectations. I have the home I've been dreaming about for the last 15 years.

I like to know exactly what's going on every step of the way. Anything that I didn't understand, they were so patient with me and took the time to help me understand whatever it was. They have excellent workmanship, especially their trim work. The painters and roofing are just so excellent. Their subs are wonderful. Even on the punchlist, my project manager noticed things I would have never seen. He held the work to such a high standard. Their perfection and attention to detail was just awesome.

Form beginning to end, he went through everything with us. It can be a pretty daunting process with building a house from the ground up. He built it in less than 120 days and thats just beyond doubt as far as the ability of him to keep track of what we wanted. He really was good about appealing with what we wanted.
