Great company to work with. The communication throughout our build process was excellent and in the future we would not hesitate to build with SAB again!
I would recommend SAB to my friends. They were responsive to getting our questions and problems resolved.
Dale was here today and as usual did an excellent job of addressing our issues. He is a pleasure to work with and is an outstanding representative of SAB.
This review is to let you know the quality of the people that we work with at SAB.
It has been one year since we've been in the house and we've had both the 3-month and one year warranty and still do not have one of the main items on the list of things to repair completed they keep telling us they need to order the part but yet they never do. I would like someone to call and get this resolved as soon as possible.
This would be a five if we had landscaping. Other than that I have enjoyed my home.
We've had a bit of trouble getting communication back from the site supervisor.
Good quality construction
Excellent service.
Homes are beatiful But didnt have enough hello and consistant help.
One thing I really liked was the contact with the superintendent as the house was being built.
We had the BEST experience with SAB. Communication was always professional and questions were answered quickly. We were very involved with the building of our home. Our supervisor Jim was the absolute best. He made us feel like family and cared about our home as if it was his own. The quality of our home is top notch and we can’t thank everyone enough.
I have nothing but good things to say about this company. I was slightly worried going into the build process because of horror stories I heard from friends and family but SAB has been an absolute joy to work with. From project manager to warranty specialists, everyone has been phenomenal.
Our experience was not something I would want someone I know to have to go through.
We chose SAB homes after looking at numerous builders and reading reviews. This was the third home we have built and one of the things that excited us about SAB was the attention to detail, quality of their home and the design center for selections. We were excited to make our selections and then sit back and watch our dream house get built. Unfortunately, this ended up being our most involved and painful house building process of the three homes. There have been plenty of positives along the way, but the negatives sting much worse. Our overall experience seems to be broken into four parts with vastly different experiences for each part.
Part 1: We had our selection meeting, met the staff and went and made our appliance selections. When we had our selection meeting, SAB did not have a superintendent for the northland at that time and Greg would be handling until they got a person hired. Everything was working out just like it should! We cant wait to break ground and start seeing our dream home get built.
Part 2: Somewhere in the framing stage, we met our new superintendent. This is when our story took a turn. We would go visit the house once a week, usually on Friday's to see what had been completed that week. Nearly every week we had a email to send out, requesting something be corrected. Plumbing in the wrong locations, electrical not done as agreed, wrong HVAC installed, wrong stone installed etc. The occasional insult was thrown to Melissa and I, but nothing we can't handle, but 100% unexpected. Towards the end of June, we reached a breaking point with the number of mistakes being made and lack of caring. We had a lengthy phone call with Raelyn and within a week, the list of mistakes had mostly been rectified and for a brief moment we were on track again. The track was shorter than the train though and within a few weeks time, the same pattern started appearing again. At this point, we could either push through and make the best of it, or walk away and accept apartment life for another year as we start over with a new dream. We pressed on.
Part 3: We completed a walkthrough of the house to close in the following week. Numerous trades were still working in the house, painting was still being completed. Sarah was fantastic and made notes of all the punch list items. However, a week later we closed and found most of the punch list had not been completed. (maybe the house needed another week or two to be ready to close?)
Part 4: After closing we met with SAB's staff. We discussed all the outstanding issues and completed another walkthrough. Raelyn and Greg were extremely open to the feedback we provided and assured us they would get all our concerns and flaws with our home taken care of. A plan was put in place and although work is on-going with some items, they 100% followed through to make sure our house gets a close as it can to the dream home we purchased.
Overall, after meeting with Raelyn and Greg, I would still recommend SAB to friend needing to build a home. They are standing behind their house and the quality of it and taking action to make things right. SAB is doing all the things they need to do to re-write Part 2.
Overall the building process was a good experience. The staff was friendly and supportive when needed. Nothing is ever going to be 100% to our expectations so one has to go into the process with this mindset. Would recommend SAB homes to a friend.
SAB was really great at communicating everything, their attention to detail was top-notch and they're extremely easy to work with.
This was such a great experience. Would not hesitate to do it again. Our superintendent was fantastic.
The quality of workmanship is very good.
Our home was being built as a model home before we came in and bought it. SAB was very accommodating on anything we wanted to change from the design, easy to work with, helpful, and their design team gave us ideas on what would look good
SAB was extremely easy to work with and the quality of their homes is great.
The builders were easy to work with and build a quality product.
They were fabulous to work with!
I’m very happy with the construction Of my new home. SAB builds quality homes and follows through with what they promise.
I do have floors with multiple floor popping in my home.
Love the house and location. Only reason why this is not 5 Stars is because of the landscaping. Continue to have issues with water draining into the sump pump. I understand Creekmoor probably has a high "water table", but maybe a little more attention can be applied to
"Box Cutting" soil prior to sod and grading.
