Likely To Recommend - I also hope this comes up to a 4 at the end of the project. I received an excellent referral from owner in my building and was very happy when Mario arranged for me to see the final output of Apt 1101.
Customer Suggestion - At the moment, I am very satisfied with PBS Contractors and the detail of the scope and planning to get to the start of the renovation.
The Project Manager was attentive. He addressed all and any issues we had. They did an awesome job on everything.

Areas Of Satisfaction - OUr project ran into some pricing issues as the city licensing changed mid way thru the project. Mike gave me several options on how we could handle it. I felt comfortable that he knew what he was doing and could handle it.

Scope Of Work - After a great deal of effort on all of our parts. We appreciate the time spent on this stage of the process.
Customer Suggestion - When you are working with novices, as you knew we were, you need to make it clear exactly what the homeowner needs to do within a specific time frame in order for the project to move forward in a timely fashion.And if there are major choices that need to be made, PBS needs to provide relevant information as to each option (such as pros & cons and cost of each option) in a timely fashion so that a decision can be made.
Additional Comments - Hard to rate PBS since we are only at the beginning of the process and work won't actually begin until May 2018.Disappointed that the work wasn't done last summer due to a number of factors. We felt that PBS dropped the ball early on and failed to move the project forward.But everyone we have dealt with has been professional and courteous, and we appreciate the amount of time that has been spent to get us to this point. We have high hopes for the completed project.
It was a difficult job and a lot of complicated logistics. They worked out pretty well.

Additional Comments - PBS has been the easy part. I will say that we did not anticipate the changes that our property management has gone through. Also, Hurricane Irma did damage to our building and property that we are still feeling the affects from. Thankfully we have Michael there to attend board meetings on our behalf as Florida is not our permanent residence.
Additional Comments - PBS has been consisantly been there for us...overseeing our project’s complete renovation during some trying times post Irma. We had mildew & asbestos removal, delayed receipt of hurricane graded windows, etc. they handled all issues on our behalf with great professionalism and a claiming effect to us. We are very excited as we near our completion date.
Areas For Improvement - The issues we had more having had more to do with the Board. It had nothing to do with the contractor. I do not have anything bad to say about PBS Contractors.

Additional Comments - In 2017, we completed our second renovation with PBS. In both cases our satisfaction with quality and cooperative spirit is exceptional.
Areas Of Satisfaction - The owner responded immediately to concerns we had at the start of the project and made the appropriate adjustments. Since then we have been very pleased with the PBS team of project manager and supervisor working with us. We have a collaborative team effort in making decisions about materials and schedule.

Customer Suggestion - Yes. When they provided an estimate for contractual purposes they included specification from an architect which they knew they weren't going to utilize so they were understated. They need to be more transparent about the situation.
