I used Forward Van Lines for my moving services and it was the worst service I have ever paid for. They were to store and deliver my items for my move out of state. Items were delivered destroyed or not at all. Getting assistance was ridiculous and no apology or follow up on my missing furniture.
They have great service and they are very dependable.
Forward Van Lines is a great company. They did a great job and I would recommend to all of my friends. I am very happy with their service.
They were attentive, effective, and professional.
Very happy with crew and service. Worked very efficiently but took care with my belongings.
Very professional and efficient.
Very professional and great to work with.
Recognized Excellence - The whole company was great.
Areas Of Satisfaction - The service was great and they were easy to communicate with.
They are an awesome company who was very professional and considerate. None of my belongings were broken.
The guys that came out and packed us and moved us were very courteous, professional and got the job done quickly.
I would recommend them to anyone. They are the best. They are a very conscientious, kind, timely, and organized company.
I was most satisfied with the professionalism they showed when they came. They were very professional and nice.
Forward Van Lines completed the work efficiently, and they were professional.
They're very cooperative and lived up to everything they said.
Would strongly not recommend.
They were very helpful while moving my 96 year old mother.
They were very careful with every piece we had. We had 100 year old antique glass and none were broken.
Forward Van Lines always does a great job!
They were very good and professional.
Some ítem were missing.
I would NEVER recommend Forward Van Lines to my worst enemy. They had no respect with people's stuff. My boxes arrived in poor condition, one was completely broken (I have pictures), which doesn't surprise me when I saw the way they were throwing the boxes around. My floor lamp, which was one of the few furniture I brought with me, was placed sideway on top of all the boxes. When they removed the lamp, it was crooked and with scratches. They also lost one of my boxes, that I only realized after unboxing everything. It was one that cannot be replaced, since it had many of my personal, memory stuff, like pictures, baby clothes, letters from my grandmother, etc. Also, they did not deliver my things on time as they promised. I was told 5 to 12 days to have my things delivered from Miami to Las Vegas. When I called customer services about the expected delivery date, they said they had up to 30 days to deliver my things, which was not mentioned when I was quoting with them. Their customer service was very dismissive and annoyed with me when I mentioned the 12 days that I was told, they simply said there was nothing they could do about it. Well, don't trust their word about any of their promises, because it is just sales talk. Another ridiculous thing about this company is on the fine prints of the contract, which they will not mention before you sign the contract, but they will definitely point out that you didn't read the fine prints so it's your fault. After 75-ft from the truck, they will charge you extra for every feet they have to move. Because of that, I had to get a storage unit so I wouldn't have to pay the extra $400 they were going to charge from my parking lot to my apartment. However, when the truck got to my storage unit, they said they couldn't move the truck close to the door because the truck was too big to make the turn. The staff from my storage unit said they had seen many 18-wheeler trucks make that turn, which means that they were very lazy and didn't even try to make it happen. On top of that, the two men said they could only take my things to the bottom of the ramp without charging me extra for the "extra feet" they had to walk until my unit. At the end, I had to move all my boxes up a ramp to my unit – talk about great service, hu! In summary, my experience with Forward Van Lines was the worst possible - from late delivery, broken boxes, missing boxes, extra fees, and rude customer service. No I would never recommend this company. STAY AWAY!!!
They were prompt with their timing to deliver.
They are a really great company.
They did not bring a bid enough truck. They had to come back a second day. When they were in a pinch, they began packing like a fourteen year old would pack.
Forward Van Lines provided excellent service from start to finish. My wife and I were always treated with respect and professionalism when we called, and every face-to-face meeting with representatives of Forward was professional, courteous, and helpful. The men who loaded and unloaded our trucks -- particularly Vincent and Alex, who unloaded for us--were hard-working and willing to go beyond the call of duty. Despite our having to have our furniture unloaded and stored due to unexpected problems in the house we were moving to, nothing was broken in transit. An excellent experience from start to finish.
Personnel were professional.
Service was average. Some really good personnel but some that did not respect our property.
Believe me they know,, Losing 24 of 29 items shipped
I use them all the time. They're responsible, they're quick, and they're on time. They're a good service. I use them exclusively. I'd give them an A+. I've already recommended them to many people.
It took Florida Forward Van Lines two days to pack up my house, which would take—they said that's how long it would take. But at the very end, they were really rushing, and a couple of my last shades were messed up. I didn't do any reporting or anything. Another thing they did, was they left one my very large paintings down at the loading dock. After they had left, the guys at the apartment building told me that the workmen—it had already been packed, they had just forgotten to put it on the truck. Otherwise, they did really good. Very professional. I think the reason they didn't finish as quickly as they wanted to was because one of the guys—it was three man crew that were working on packing—and one of the guys was not very well trained, and he kind of took off for a while, at some point, so they were really bound on him. I'd give them a B+. They're an excellent company. This is one of those things where two of their guys were superb, and all the company interactions were superb. It was just this one guy who was not.
Florida Forward Van Lines helped me move in June. They were efficient, courteous, and they got the job done, and did it pretty much the way I wanted—I can't complain. I would grade them an A.
They just moved all my stuff, and they did everything within a timely fashion. The service that I expected was provided. It was good. I'd give them an A.
I had a great experience with them. I don't think that the guys were that well trained; I would grade them a C because of lack of communication, organization. They still did a great job. If it was high end furniture, I would not hire them for that. They were not organized—they had stuff all over the place—but they still managed to get the job done. I had companies that were much more organized. If the furniture is not very expensive, and you’re not so worried about it, then they are good enough for that. But if you have high end furniture, I would not hire them for that. They are not organized or professionally trained. Definitely, they were not professionally trained. I didn't deal with customer service.
I'd give them an A-.
They were very good. They did a good job. I would give them an A. Everything was nice and folded. Everything was great. I would recommend them, and I would use them again.
They did excellent work. I had no complaints, and I would recommend them.
Everything went well. They were efficient and very courteous, and they did a really good job. I would grade Florida Forward Van Lines an A.
They didn't waste a lot of time; they got the job done in a timely manner. They moved a house for me. I would grade them a B+.
I had a positive experience with the pickup crew—the delivery crew, not as much. The pickup crew was great. They did everything efficiently and fairly. The price was fair. I actually had a very decent pricing. Everything was shipped quickly, and it actually even got there early, much quickly than any other company that I had looked up. Overall, I think they're a good company. The delivery crew, one of them was good and the other one was kicking some boxes, and not having the best care with the items. Having said that, we had one thing that was an exercise machine that was damaged beyond repair, and other little scratches and smaller damage. Largely, there was less damage than I thought I would have for a cross-country trip. I would give the overall experience a B+.
They don't know how to handle paintings. I have two or three. I've just gotten to the stage where I'm hanging up paintings; at least three have broken glass in the corners, so they didn't put in in properly. It seems to be just in the corners. In addition to that, they lost one painting, and they—I told them to take two terrace chairs off the terrace, which they forgot, and they left two paintings in the apartment, and they broke a sculpture. They were very pleasant, but they were not particularly—I would never use them again, nor would I recommend them. I would say a C-. They were pleasant, but I have to have the pictures fixed, sent to a framer. The sculpture is done; I took a picture of it. Like I said, what they left in the apartment—good thing I went back the next day. I can't give them an excellent quality because of what they did. The office was fine. They were filthy. The guys were filthy dirty. I don't know when the last time it was they took a bath. They didn't leave a mess or trash around.
Very good. Extremely hard working, very efficient. The owner's a very good guy, very honest and trustworthy. I'd give them an A+.
The gentlemen that moved me—they were very fast, efficient, polite, hardworking, and made sure to take care of all my furniture. The new apartment I had moved into had this vinyl type flooring, and one of the gentlemen accidentally ripped the floor. The supervisor that was on scene handled the situation very professionally; there was no argument as to who did it, or anything like that. He knew his employee had made the error and was very sure to take photos and report the incident, and, like I said, they handled everything very professionally. I can give them an A.
I would say, in general, they showed up on time. They packed well and didn't break too many things. They were pleasant, so overall, it was good experience. What I didn't like, was the guy that packed up my dad's office was 96. We drove an hour; I moved 45 minutes. And he says' Here is your computer, here's your wires, here's your T.V.,”— hooked him all up. I just found my computer two weeks ago. They did mark the box, they didn't point it out to me, I had to go out and buy another computer. I could have asked them, I didn't think about it. How is it that one packer knows to let you know, here is your computer to save it; keep track of it. To my 96 year old dad, he doesn't need it, I'm online everyday. So, if that's the thing that can happen—all the boxes ended up in my garage; a number of them I still haven't opened yet. They are just a mountain. I have to get a ladder to get the top of them; they were all piled up in the garage. That's was my mistake; I take full responsibility for that. I thought that I would take one box, put it away—but that was my mistake, because I couldn't find things right away. I thought my computer would be marked; I thought they would keep track of it, and handle it delicately. I didn't find it for two months. I brought another computer. I would make that a suggestion. Overall, my experience was fine. I haven't complained to anybody; I'm not bad mouthing Forward Van Lines, but if they could keep track with what a 96 year old man has, and not the woman of the household who is running things, and obviously the one making decisions—paying bills is probably the one that needs to go online. I didn't expect them to label every box, and I didn't think of it myself. The guy that packed up my dad's office could've been nicer. He got the wires, the extension cords—an hour after we got here, he was online and good to go. Two months in, I'm like, ‘Where is my computer?’ That's the suggestion I would make if you’re going to keep track of one computer in the family, you better keep track of them all. But I was surprised—there was very little breakage; they packed things well. And if somebody asked if we would use them again, I would probably say yes. But this time I would say, ‘You tell me where my computer is. You keep track of my printer, and when I get there, you tell me where my computer is.’ So, that is a lesson I learned. I would grade them a B+. I thought their customer service was very good. But another problem we had is that—I was using some of the furniture and things to stage the house; I was selling the house—and I went in, and the head guy said, ‘Now, what are we doing in each room?’ and I would say, ‘Everything on that wall stays, and that goes.’ There were only three rooms like that; they got it all wrong. By the time I finished going around with him—the packers—they don't speak English, they don't listen. By the time I got back, they had packed up everything in one room, and there was only a couple of things. My whole living room was supposed to stay, the lamps, the shades—everything—and I was going to leave all that furniture there; only two things were supposed to be packed up. There should be a better way. Maybe most people move everything, and that's what they are used to. Again, I will take responsibility for that; I should have gone around with post it notes—green for go, and red for stay. And I could have done—I thought I was able to say ‘Everything stay, except for these two hutches.’ Again, if I do it again and some things stay and some things go, I'm going to label with post it notes.
It was perfect. A few boxes were crushed, and just, a wood thing had a broken leg, but I mean, it's typical—no big deal. Great; I appreciated everything. They were real good. I would definitely recommend them. I'd give Florida Forward Van Lines an A. They're definitely on time. It was definitely good.
I'm actually waiting to see if they would get back to me on something which they haven't; one of the boxes wasn't delivered—at least one that I know of, because I'm missing some items. So, I called them up, and I asked them if they could look into it and everything, and they haven't gotten back to me. To be honest, I wasn't all that thrilled. There was, in terms of the quote that they gave me—they came out to do an inspection, and then later on, I ended up spending another thousand more than I had anticipated, which didn't make me happy. And then, in addition to my items being lost, them not getting back to me—I also heard that, when I spoke with them, they said if it's longer than thirty days, they just donate the items—which I think is ridiculous because everything's tagged, so it wouldn't take much to track who, what belongs to what. I was not fond of them. It would be between a C- and D+. I think cleanliness was just kind of standard. Another issue I recall that just came up—I moved from one state to the next, and I secured a date with the expectation that my items would be delivered sooner than they were, and that ended up not happening, and there was this miscommunication going on. I would say there were surprises there that shouldn't have been there.
I would say they were very attentive and very careful with my furniture. I would grade them a B.
The guys were great, really nice, and on time. I’d give them an A+. They were great. Everything was great.
Everything is fine. They did what I asked for. Everything was fine. I'd give them A+.
It was fantastic. I'm still dealing with them; they're holding all my furniture. They moved my entire house. I'd give them an A.
They're very efficient. In fact, Best Picks is where I got them out of. I was very happy with them. I'd give them an A+ on everything. I have recommended Florida Forward Van Lines, as a matter of fact.
