My Bermuda sod was put down at my new home in December. How do I care for it to promote growth and keep it healthy?

Water until established and then cut the water back.  Bermuda needs water, but not as much as some of the other types of grass.  Keep it cut short
Is there something I can do for my creaky, poppy hardwood floors without replacing them?
