Schedule - The details including associated draws of payments was very much appreciated. This was our first build and we were in Mexico for the winter. It was critical for us to know the schedule was being fulfilled. This was accomplished with daily photos and copies of inspection reports. David promised we would not lose a summer due and he fulfilled his commitment by building during the winter so we would have our home upon our return.

Budget

Budget - David's original quote remained unchanged through to the end of construction. We've never heard of a builder sticking to his quote. David did just that. This speaks to his discipline and expertise in preparing all the details of the build.

Areas Of Satisfaction - We live in a community of contractors who take on too much work and so constantly fall short of the customer expectations - like taking 2+ years to build your home. We went outside this community to get a contractor who would stand by his word. We were not disappointed.

I have absolutely no reservations in recommending Carruthers Contracting for jobs both small and large. They have built us a ground up cottage that is stunning and after five years, there have been no issues at all with the workmanship or the materials.

This company is great. Dave and his entire staff are very professional. Their workmanship is excellent. I never had to wait for a response from Dave, he was always timely with responding to any questions that I had. After a bad storm Dave came by to check on the new Bunkie he built for me. Follow up was excellent.
