Overall, the house layout is great and most of the materials are great. But during the house construction we had no idea what they were putting in it, because the refused to answer any of our questions regarding what materials they were putting in and have still refused to give me the official list of materials, saying they don’t have one even though the home was “built to spec” When I pointed out some big ticket defects such as the obviously twisted pillars in the hallway, they told me that they would not fix them, “that just happens sometimes” or “it’s a handmade house, it’s not going to be perfect.” When I pointed out that the new bath tub was cracked, they just painted over it. When I pointed out that the interior door thresholds were separated from the wall by about an inch at the top, they attempted to calk the gap (didn’t complete it) instead of giving an option to fix it or even come back and fix it in the future. The entire buying process put an enormous amount of stress on me do to a refusal to communicate with me or my agent, and trying to get any of their word in writing was impossible because instead of responding to emails or texts, they would call back (eventually) and yield none of the information we requested or just walk around our questions entirely. Literally every big ticket defect we put on our walk through they just put question marks next to, or crossed it out, with no explanation of why they would not address our concern with the defect. We noticed bubbling on the brand new roof, we put it on our report, they told us it was fine. we got a 3rd party roofer to look at it, and he said the entire roof needed to be replaced! Every defect came with an excuse and no accountability or reassurance of a fix in the future, and if I hadn’t already sold my previous home while they finished the construction of this one, I would not have proceeded with purchase once all these red flags started popping up. 1st Oklahoma Homes/ Apple construction, if you want to reach out to me and talk about these things I would be more than happy have that talk.
The reason I’m giving four stars is the final finish painting on the baseboards was sloppy with poor masking and paint smeared into the tile. I’ve been cleaning and scrubbing the tile and grout line for a month.
Very good experience love the responsiveness
They do not control the subs. Was supposed to have egg shell paint instead I got flat paint.
We would recommend 1st Oklahoma Homes to anyone building a new home or purchasing a newly completed home.

GuildQuality partners with it's member companies to survey their customers and collect detailed feedback on their behalf. By administrating surveys as an unbiased third party we ensure that customers have the opportunity to express their true feelings about a project and that members get the most accurate and detailed feedback possible.
When a survey contains the "Review" question, that customer's answer will show up on the member's profile page as a public review. Members have the option to turn off reviews but cannot hide individual reviews. It's all or nothing. This means that any reviews you see on a GuildQuality profile page are real comments left by the customer and verified by GuildQuality.
Each item listed under "Customer satisfaction" represents a specific question asked by GuildQuality to customers of 1st Oklahoma Homes as part of our survey process. The bar graph and percentage next to the question stand for the percentage of respondents that were "Satisfied" about that particular question.
