Power Home Remodeling wasn't bad and they weren't good. My rating is middle of the road.
Quick, clean, quality work 👌
On time & quality work
The installation was a horrible experience. We understood going into this that it was a construction project and that dust and debris would be a part of it, but we tried to lay plastic and things to help contain things. But the crew took it upon themselves to remove the plastic in a way that ensured the debris fell onto the furniture and flooring. I had plastic covering my computer that they removed and in doing so, they knocked down some custom hand painted figures and broke them.
Another issue is that when they were removing some of the old windows, they broke the glass and it went all over our flooring and exterior pavers. While they attempted to “clean up” the broken glass, we found many shards in our carpet and in our backyard where our daughter plays.
There is also broken glass shards and debris in the seals of the new windows, as they didn’t clean anything after they removed the old ones and installed the new ones.
One of the installer also used a toilet upstairs, which is fine as we all have to use the restroom. However, this individual decided not to flush his feces and also got urnine all over the toilet.
The installation team also spilled lacquer thinner on our flooring in an upstairs bedroom and it won’t come off. So our flooring is permanently damaged. We have read that acetone might get it off, but it might also ruin the flooring top coat in the process.
There are other issues along these lines. But as you can tell, we had many issues with the install and we would never want to refer anyone to experience any of these, so will we not be recommending Power to anyone.
Found everything honest and right up front.
They did a good job.
I have used them several times. I think they are overpriced. The warranty is good, the work is better than good and they will come and touch up anything I need touched up. All my neighbors are contractors.
I had the salesperson come out to the house; they were very good. I had eight windows replaced and I asked what brand they used and said they mainly use Pella windows, which worked out well. The salesperson was very knowledgeable and good. The installers came out and started their work and did a pretty good job but I thought they could have cleaned up a little bit better; I had to sweep and vacuum inside and out, which I was disappointed with. Then they had an inspector come out and inspect the job the installers did. the inspestor came off as a know-it-all; I had to ask him to stay with the windows to see if they were installed correctly but he was talking about all other areas of my house. I felt The inspector was talking down to me. Would I recommend them, maybe some of it. I would never recommend that inspector coming out to my house again.
The process was really easy and straightforward. The prices were good and the work was done really well. We had three appointments. They came in for the consultation, then the measuring, and then the installation. They were all on time and they knew their stuff. Everything was really well done. They were knowledgeable, kind, and very personable. They were all very good representatives that came out.
We had windows and doors put in. Both crews were punctual, polite and get our home clean.
I was taken with the friendly, courteous, and informative team of experts that Power Home Remodeling has available to serve the homeowner!
The crews didn’t do a good lob cleaning up, I had to have someone come out multiple times and I am still finding nails. I also had to have someone come fix the windows because the weather stripping was coming off, and fix the downspout on the gutter because it was leaking.
Their communication was clear and concise. All their representatives were open and friendly, and their work crews were excellent!
They need to make sure that they see the design of the product before they sign on the dotted line. I had a problem.
From the beginning to the end, all of the checks and balances. The demonstration on how the windows perform, how they are made and the benefits to your wallet, in the long haul.
We think they may have given us a good quality product. However, after they left the job site, we found a styrofoam baffle, behind our landscaping, that apparently blew off while the wood planks were being swapped for new. We contacted Power Home Remodeling to ask them to send someone out, to place that baffle back up into our attic. After 3 days of waiting for someone to come out, (and leaving the attic access in our bedroom cleared for access for 3 days). And promised for 3 days that someone would call back/ to come out to fix the issue. We were told some lame story that the baffle wasn’t necessary and didn’t need to be placed back in our attic, along side the other baffles that were still in our attic. We don’t have any confidence in the follow through from Power Home Remodeling, if or when we have any issues with our roof in the future. They took our money and that’s all they wanted. Just no concern for future business or recommendations.
The process was streamlined, organized, and speedy.
The process from beginning to end was very good 👍
Great customer service and quality products and workmanship.
We have had work done by other companies and when they leave, I spent 23 days cleaning up not with power power left everything gorgeous if you want a company that will do the job and when they walk away, you have nothing to do. This is the company for you.
No communication, sloppy on clean up, dented my siding, promised they would come out to do a magnet sweep never came out. I have been picking up wood pieces screws and nails. One gutter was placed in wrong area as I could bot communication with workers as the just kept telling me dont understand.
They communicate with you throughout the process. And the workers were a one
Everyone was very professional and pleasant. The work was done within fast and the timeframe mentioned. Work was very top notch!
So organized.
I appreciated that they often include veterans as their employees.
