Mostly it's the model home. It's constructed with several higher end options and that isn't clear until you sit down and start discussing the house. The additional cost of all of the options on display in the model home is quite substantial.

It would depend on their timeline and what type of home they wanted to build or how customized (I felt Tilson didn’t have many options to choose from for fixtures) they wanted to go.

Building with Tilson has allowed us the flexibility to sell our current home and start the building process of our dream home on 52 acres. The Waxahachie office has been patient, kind, and helpful.
While living out of a shop and camper may not be for everyone, we are thankful that Tilson’s EasyBuy program allows us to live mortgage free while the house is being built. We are thankful and excited to see our dreams come to fruition.

It took almost 6 months before construction started after we signed in December and had all our selections as well as all the required utilities, road, etc.
