The work was subpar. They didn't do much of anything that was on the estimate. They only worked a few hours multiple days instead of one full work day and the ceiling repair is very visible (very obviously been repaired)
They were incompetent and inconsistent. I wrote everything down. Every day they were here, I wrote down how many people they were, what they did, and what they destroyed. It took them eight hours on three different trips. When they moved the toilet out of their way, they broke the lid. They're supposed to bring me another lid, but I haven't seen them since. They've been paid. They took out the ceramic tile in the basement when my basement flooded. It was loose, so sewer water got underneath there. They tore it all out, so I'm stuck with the glue that's stuck to the floor. They shouldn't have torn it up. There was no supervision. For $17 an hour, they paid these kids to come in here and tear my house up. They tracked dirt up the stairs and all over the floors. They didn't put any plastic up until the end when I told them to do that to keep dust and dirt in the basement from coming upstairs. They're terrible. I wouldn't hire them to clean my doghouse. When they took the Sheetrock off, they destroyed the trim on the doors. They didn't take it off gently. They just pulled it off. Now I have to get new trim, but the insurance isn't going to cover that. I have to buy all new trim. It's just ridiculous what they did. They didn't know what they were doing. They had to come back three different times to get it right. You can see the mold on the backside of the Sheetrock, but they wouldn't take it out.
They were very timely about getting someone to the house asap. Very much appreciated

I had a sofa cleaned to donate to charity. The cleaning technician was very professional and did an outstanding detailed job. He was one of the most courteous service workers I've encountered. Kudos for great service.
The whole experience was a nightmare. On December 7, Steamatic's men showed up around 8 a.m. to clean ducts in house. The first thing that happened was that they raised the price of job about $68 more than price quoted. They went about job but dragged in mud in den and rec room. About 9 a.m. man came to clean carpet on second floor, closets, steps and also rec room. Luckily he was here at right time to remove stain from den carpeting. He said that stain on rec room floor (which he had already cleaned) would not come up. Talked to Jeff Degenhardt and said that I was not happy with job as there was still dirt around edges of rooms, steps and closets. I told him that stain on carpet that duct cleaners had made would not come up. He sent out another man immediately who removed it and said that previous man must not have tried as stain came right up. He also showed me that filtration dirt around edges of rooms would come up and he did a test area for me. There would be an extra charge to do the work however. We arranged to have someone here the following Monday. He arrived and first thing that he said after I showed him what needed to be done, was that that would take all day. He proceeded with job and told me that dirt was coming up easier than he had thought. Unfortunately when he finished, it hardly looked like he had touched it. I was very upset and said that the work was unacceptable. As an example I have a wall where first man had done a test area on about 1/5 of wall, and the rest of that wall is still very dirty and looks as if it had never been touched. Also while working upstairs man used bathroom stool, did not even bother to flush, and discovered feces several days later. We told carpet man that the work was unacceptable and my husband called next day to talk to someone and call has never been returned to this day.
I found working with Steamatic to be very frustrating. I was given an 11-1 window of time for the technician's arrival. He rolled into my driveway at 3:30 pm. Steamatic made no attempt to contact me and notify me of the delay. It was on me to call them to inquire as to the whereabouts of the technician. I was disappointed and inconvenienced.

The gentleman who did out carpet, carpet stretching and furniture did a wonderful job. Excellent technician and excellent company at a fair price. Again---a great job.

I was totally satisfied and well pleased with the work of Steamatic in cleaning my duct system. The tech was precise, polite and very detailed with my cleaning. He was always eager and willing to answer any questions that I had during the cleaning process, without hesitation. Thank you again!

They did not have tools to clean next to baseboards. The carpet was very dirty, they only gave it a once over and called it done. I would have paid more for more effort.
I was not impressed with the quality of Steamatic's carpet cleaning or upholstery cleaning. They did not clean the carpet on my stairs on the outside of the banister and came back out to do so; however, the quality of the carpet cleaning in the rest of the house is sub-par. They also did not clean my couch entirely and left it with stains that I asked to be removed. They did come back out and take my couch back to their shop and did a decent job. However, they did do a good job at cleaning my air ducts.

I had a very poor experience. They did not have any follow-up. There did not seem to be any management. People just kept showing up. The punchlist was completed in 45 days.
