It was a good buying experience all in all. Much better than the last time I bought a new home

The process from start to finish was a struggle At one point I had to ask if they really wanted to sell a house. Nothing was completed post inspection and we had to have the regional manager assist for a full 30 days after closing to completing items that contractually were to be done prior to close. I received nothing about paint colors or brands used in the house. Very disappointing process.

Home has great quality built nicely and builder was awesome

When I took possession of my home, Starlight was not ready. There was construction equipment blocking my drive way, it took hours for the staff at the office to find my keys, several items from the tape walk weren't addressed, and the sod was not properly watered after install. I'm hopeful that everything in the house is okay, but from that interaction and what I hear from others in the neighborhood, I would be hesitant to whole-heartedly reccommend.

The follow up on fixing things during the inspection and after move in a sub par. My kitchen drawers still fall out and someone did come out after the 2nd no show but they problem remains

Lots of things in the home need repair

Just liked the whole process from start to finish. They really have their stuff together.

Since we bought our home in June, we have had nothing but problems since then. We have had everything ranging from the secondary condensate line leaking when we went to see our house for our final walk-through to our AC unit completely breaking. Whenever we reached out for help, the builder did not take responsibility for messing anything up and he was almost unreachable. I was never able to directly reach him and most of the stuff that was done to our house was done either hastily or in poor quality. Even the seals around the door frames were not done properly. When I asked to talk to somebody or have anything that was a problem of mine escalated, nothing happened. I would never ever ever recommend this builder to anyone. Not even my worst enemy. I am livid. I feel like my family has been walked all over and I feel like this home is not even worth $350,000 let alone $430,000.

Warranty request take to long fix things

They were easy to work with on the home buying side and getting us into our home. They were usually pretty quick with communication.

It was an easy process for a veteran.

If I were to refer someone to purchase I would recommend they look a lot closer at the cleanliness and workmanship of the fit and finish.

Hay no arrepentida

Trent Mahaffey is very professional. I have only been in my home for about four months, and since I moved in, he has made me feel very welcome and safe in the community. If I have any small issues, he comes promptly and returns my emails quickly, which means a lot to me, especially as an almost single mother. I appreciate his professionalism and support. I also appreciate Kenya Mitchell, who works in the office. She was the first person I spoke with when signing up for my home. She is extremely professional, and while all the other workers are as well, she is the one who inspired me to buy my first home with Starlight Homes. I appreciate them both very much.

I didn't have a good experience at my closing. Things weren't done that they said were going to be done. Starlight Homes are not very attentive to my needs when I contact them—they are too slow to respond. I just didn't have a good experience. So, I would hate to tell someone to go there and deal with them, only for them to have the same experience I did. I wouldn't want to put that pressure on myself.

I highly advise you to never buy a home from Starlight Homes.

The lots are not well prepared prior to building. Not leveled however Dave Moyer was excellent. He made himself available and is super knowledgeable. He reassured me thru the whole process. Im grateful for him.

Construction consistency of quality

Overall, wonderful experience. My only issue is with the builder/construction manager as we still have items not fixed that we were promised would be before we even got back from closing… it’s been THREE months. I even had to cut the lock off of my breaker panel because the original builder, Abraham, left his on there and I had no way to access.

I would never recommend Starlight Homes based on my experience. The house has been poorly built, and I have experienced multiple construction and warranty issues shortly after moving in. Cracks and openings in the walls have allowed ants to invade my entire home specially in my master bedroom bathroom and closet. I have had to purchase silicone myself to seal openings that should have been properly addressed during construction. When I request repairs, even after being directed to do so by the construction manager, the process has been extremely frustrating, with delays and, at times, an attitude that makes me feel like my concerns are a burden. My patio remains unsecured because Starlight refuses to pay for the necessary part. I don't feel safe in a brand new home. During shower, water comes out even being mentioned by my inspector on 6/3/26.

Was not made aware by the sales office of how loud the train tracks were or how frequently they run especially at night. It's become a huge inconvenience. The sales office lacked the knowledge of how loud the trains are and how frequently they run which is not okay. No precaution was made with building the homes to take into consideration of how loud the trains are. This is definitely something that should be disclosed. Sales office claimed they didnt know either as no one had ever mentioned it the sales office. Reached out on multiple occasions to get assistance with sound proofing the windows to make my living condition more peaceful and manageable and no solution was provided . Still waiting on some items to be fixed in the home. Walls are super thin. Poor build quality

JACK THE SAKESNAN WAS VERY HONEST AND STRAIGHTFORWARD. HE ASSURED THST MY EXPERIENCE WAS STRESS FREE AS WELL AS TRANSPARENT. HE IS TRULY A GREAT GUY. HE IS A CREDIT TO YOUR INDUSTRY. I WILL RECOMMEND TO ANY AND ALL PEOPLE THAT WANT TO PURCHASE A HOME.

Very bad experience. My house has many imperfections and we've been living in it for less than 3 months. I would never recommend this company.
