The presentation is key, they do their job well.
I really like the cabinets. They did a marvelous job.
The job has not been fully completed. I have been waiting for caulk to be put on.
We really didnt have all that we needed financially to completely replace our old kitchen cabinets so we went the next direction of having them refaced. They came out so beautiful and we have let our friends and family, who also agree, that you do an awesome job and are affordable.
The entire process was smooth and we were well informed. All the workers were very professional and cleaned up after themselves.
The entire process went so smoothly!
Our dark cabinets needed a refresh, and we wanted something lighter and more modern. After exploring our options, we chose to reface them through Redo Cabinets — and we’re very happy with the results! George, our installer, was incredibly detail-oriented and did a fantastic job.
Here are a few tips for potential customers, along with some constructive feedback for the company:
**1. Do Your Research First**
If you're considering cabinet refacing, take the time to do your homework before the in-home sales appointment. Redo offers a significant same-day discount — but it’s only available during that first visit. To feel confident in your decision, we recommend visiting their showroom in St. Charles or the newer location in Wood Dale to get a better sense of the materials and finishes.
**2. Is Refacing Right for You?**
If your cabinet boxes and drawers are structurally sound and you're happy with your current kitchen layout, refacing is a great (though not inexpensive) option. It gives your kitchen a fresh look without the mess and cost of a full remodel.
**3. Be Proactive with Communication**
Once you've signed your contract, be prepared to initiate communication with the project team. While they were always responsive when we reached out, most of the follow-up came from our side. A bit more proactive outreach from the company would improve the experience.
**4. Smooth Coordination During Installation**
Scheduling was efficient. The countertops and plumbing were well-coordinated, so we were only without a functioning sink for about a day and a half. After that, Redo’s cabinet installer took over — in our case, the installation took four days.
**5. Great Work by the Installer**
If George is representative of the rest of Redo’s install team, you’re in excellent hands. He was professional, meticulous, and clearly takes pride in his work.
**Pro Tip:** Before installation day, clear as much space as possible. If you can, remove drawers and cabinet doors ahead of time — this gave George a head start and helped speed up the process.
I recommend using Redo for your refacing project. Steve answered all our questions prior to signing, Joann was the friendly voice in the office and the aforementioned George was a great installer.
I liked Andy Baxter, who did the installation and did an excellent job, and Joanne, who was in customer service, was excellent and answered all my questions.
The quality and finished work on the cabinets, countertops and backsplash exceeded my expectations. All of the installers were knowledgeable, timely and professional.
The experience was wonderful! They did a great job. They cleaned up. There was no issue with the company. There was an issue with the manufacturer leaving out two doors for the cabinets. I am happy with the experience.
Process was explained thoroughly, courteous staff, and completed on estimated timeline.
I like the quality of the product. I especially like the warranty. I feel like we have a “new “ kitchen.
I was impressed with the quality of the materials. I feel communication is key with a kitchen project like this. From Ada, our sales rep, to Joanne in production, to Ralph
and Chris the installers, everyone communicated nicely! My daughter is having Redo handle her kitchen project
next month!
I think it was very expensive, 19K for just replacing door and drawer fronts, nothing more. Beyond the 3 day cancellation, 2 or 3 days, they wanted $6700 to cancel the work even though they hadn’t measured or ordered or cut any material.
Their cleanup was minimal. We had to wash down shelves and vacuum construction dust from the sliders etc
Good quality and workmanship
Perfect workmanship down to the last detail!
Yes, Adam was absolutely fantastic, both as a craftsman and gentleman working in our home. This a truly and wonderful experience, not to mention the outstanding quality of work he put into our refacing project.
I would recommend Redo Cabinets to all of my friends.
Displays at show rooms are not exactly the same.
What a great experience . From our salesman Eric , to our customer service Rep Patrice , who communicated each detail of the process , finally to our installers Adam and Vito . Top quality from start to finish from all !!
The cost, flexibility of financing, and turnaround time were great factors.
The reason why I did not do the survey online was that, for the most part, I am happy with the project. We had some issues with the countertops having to be redone four times. When I called, they took care of the issue. The only issue we had was the countertops.
Work was done quickly and looks great. Have already given your number to a couple of friends.
They do an excellent job.
Professional, quick, wonderful. The installers were just wonderful and their work impeccable. Exceeded our expectations. Thank you for our new fantastic kitchen!
