Since moving into our home, we have found many issues on the interior / exterior of the home.

Issues on the interior of the home.

Kitchen – scratches / defects on the cabinets.
Kitchen – cracked countertop / discoloration of the countertop from trying to repair defects.
Interior doors – overspray and runs – should not have been installed before correcting the paint.
Interior wall and doors – painters are using different types of paint, and you can tell where it does blend well from touch ups.
Exterior doors – seal looks used and dirty – poor installation.
Bathroom – crack in the bathtub – should have not been installed.

Issues on the exterior of the home.

Driveway / Back porch – cracks / holes in the concrete.
Front porch / Driveway – discoloration of the concrete from dirt and poor touch ups.
Front porch – poor paint touch up.
Back porch – poor paint job – already looks a year old.

These are the issues we have faced so far. And from what we have seen, we expect more. We did not expect this much headache in a new construction home.

Definitely, great home plan (Jade plan), everyone on Ashton Woods team made the process of building very easy, all questions were answered, even after moving into our new home Jason keeps checking with us to make sure all is ok etc

The build quality for certain things can surely improve

They do not respond, and they are not timely on complaints. When they respond, the job is not finished in a satisfactory manner. They don't give you a report as to what was done. I have issues because you asked over and over, and it is not done in a timely manner.

They stayed on schedule throughout my build, and kept me updated every week. The customer service has been great! I’m loving my home and so far no issues.

Nice builder and have good warranty support. I really like the building manager / supervisor Sebastine. He always answers all my questions and provide great support always. I am very much satisfied.

Ashton Woods Homes are beautiful!

One is going to have to project manage the tradesmen when they come in to do the annual walkthrough, and not only the trades but the project manager as well. Be prepared for a lack of customer service, no proactive responses, and no professionalism. Before purchasing the home, inspect the quality of the materials that are actually in the home. Make sure it matches the expectations for the price of the home that one is paying for.

Home design is fresh and well thought out

I have a retention pond issue. It is graded wrong and because it is so close to house it is washing away ground near house. Also there should be protection from someone falling into it like I did and broke my elbow. Fence was hit and cracked andmain 8 by 8 pole is shattered. Love the house but these are important issues of concern as well as water coming down hill and flowing up to deck.

It is a well-built home, and so far we are enjoying it.

We like the floor plan of our model, lot size and location.

I love the staff. Tandy was very, very very helpful. She would answer her phone at any hour, even if she's off. If I had any concerns, she'll get back to me in a timely manner. She made the home buying experience a joy. I wish I could buy more houses with her help. Tom was also very helpful. Everything i asked for he did. I take great pleasure in telling my family and friends about AW.

After closing, we found warranty issues that were not resolved. Tickets are closed before they get resolved.

The whole experience from beginning to end was pleasant and smooth

The entire process start to finish has been lovely. Customer service has been top notch and everyone has made me feel like a priority.
