We had a disagreement with management over the scheduling of closing where the information given by management was not solid and changed a few times--according to Ashton Woods fiscal year and monetary goals.

Yes, I would recommend Ashton Woods Homes to others. The quality of the materials is noticeable. I would only suggest improving the final steps of the buying process—especially the key handoff—to make the homeowner feel special. Stronger communication during that phase would also make a big difference.

They used the worst possible paint. There were a lot of warranty requests. They did not do quality control.

Project management could be much better

Overall very happy with AW. I am not pleased with my home's landscaping. It was done very poorly. There is trash under my mulch, the mulch was stacked up way too high thus piling up against my foundation which is not good for my foundation, and the landscapers clearly did not dig any of the dirt beneath the flower bed. They stacked way too much mulch on top of the soil instead of digging out some of the soil first and then placing the appropriate amount of mulch on top. It was done very unprofessionally. I had to fix it myself but I should not of had to. It should've been done correctly the first time.

The way the major leak and following repairs on my house after move in was handled was extremely stressful and nerve wracking. I wouldn’t wish the lack of oversight on anyone. My 2nd bathroom and bedroom were torn apart and unusable for nearly 6 weeks. I had to babysit workers who were trying to tile over the drywall without waterproofing and shoving in sand into the seams of lvp instead of installing properly. On top of that, i was following up constantly for updates and having to manage the process and holding people to timelines it seemed.

Everything went so smooth and everyone was so nice.

The seller team has been great; however, there is room for improvement for the project management team that actually built the stuff.

Well I was being constantly pressured and threatened about closing on time and losing a $20,000 security deposit that I made in good faith knowing I have a VA loan that was 0% down and this entire experience made me regret going for the second home purchase from ashton woods.

It was a fast, easy process. Everyone communicated well throughout.

As a company, Aston woods has some great folks working, but my Builder Edmund is incompetent and needs to kicked out of your company

Warranty portal was very frustrating to use. Many times the workers would not know what they were supposed to be fixing before coming out and be unprepared to fix the issue resulting in them having to reschedule and come out another day. This happened with almost all of my portal requests which resulted in me having to take off multipleee days from work just to get issues fixed.

I recommended Ashton Woods Homes to one of my friends, and they purchased a home the month after I did.

The service after agreeing to terms with the sales associate was about as bad as it gets. Dismissive. Unflexible. No customer service sense at all. Got the sale & moved on.

When I first walked in the model home, Julie was amazing, her understanding this was a BIG decision, and patience with me finding the right model, right lot and in the right time frame was top priority. Her level of communication was perfect. Checking in with my agent and also looping me in was appreciated. During my walk through, Jerry made sure to mark all the little things, and never made me feel like I was being petty. All around great experience specifically in the areas of communication and knowledge.

I am likely to recommend Ashton Woods Homes to a friend, however I rate it 4 stars. It's just been some things as far as the build width, which was kind of a hassle. Certain things were supposed to get done as stated by Ashton Woods Homes, and we just had to constantly babysit them as far as getting the house built to a quality standard.

We love our new home, and our construction manager (Jarrod) was amazing! Would definitely recommend AW to others.

It is easy to obtian a home but it is hard to get good customer service once you are in.

These are quality homes. We love how they don't cut corners to build efficiently. We love the sign of Rules at the entrance of our neighborhood so the workers are held to a higher standard.

The home buying experience was very enjoyable and we personally love the home plans that Ashton Woods have to offer. Two features that stick out are the design in the front of the house with the porch and the brick arches and the office room.

The project manager was excellent. His service along the way was excellent. His service made me feel confident at closing.

The whole process was great. Kyle was very helpful, even with some touch-up issues. He took care of any issues.
