Wright Marshall is the owner and president of Revival Construction Inc. Wright has lived in the Atlanta area for most of his life. Wright attended Woodward Academy in Atlanta and Washington & Lee University in Virginia. After majoring in business administration and art history, he considered getting a masters degree in architecture but decided to learn to build before returning to school. Wright has been building ever since.
Wright's first job was a superintendent for a large residential developer where he built approximately seventy homes in two developments. After building new homes, Wright worked as a project manager for a large design/build renovation firm in Atlanta. He became the company's first production manager and later moved into an estimating and sales management position.
In May 2000 Wright started Revival Construction Inc. with the vision to renovate and restore Atlanta's older homes. Revival offers a full range of design services from initial feasibility studies to fully detailed construction drawings and specifications. Revival also has a relationship with many prominent architects and designers in Atlanta. Revival holds a residential-light commercial contractor's license through the state of Georgia. All of Revival's project managers and production manager have achieved the Certified Lead Carpenter designation from the National Association of the Remodeling Industry. Wright has achieved the Certified Remodeler designation from NARI and also the Certified Graduate Remodeler designation from the National Association of Home Builders. Revival works on a fixed price contract, so if the scope of work does not change once the contract is signed, neither does the price. Clients meet weekly with Wright and the project manager throughout the duration of the project to discuss progress, decisions, and other concerns.
Revival has grown through providing excellent service and quality construction. The firm derives almost all of its work from referrals and repeat business from past clients. We cannot say enough good things about the Revival team: professionalism, detail orientation, working from plans, listening to the client and holding our hands, business set up where you know exactly what's going on, etc. They were wonderful to work with.

Revival does quality work in a timely way. Our foreman was skilled, knowledgeable and great to work with. They said they would finish mid November and they were right on time. Their communication was timely. I would use them again and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Recognized Excellence - Jordan Lopez was the supervisor on our project, and he was extremely responsive, reliable, and thorough in his management of our job. He responded quickly to any question or concern that we had. He was talented as a carpenter and handled many other small jobs along the way in addition to expertly managing the subs on the job.

Why Or Why Not Recommend - Wright and Brian and Revival team gave us a scope and schedule at the outset of the job that they executed on from start to finish. Wright communicates very well and that is something that was very important to me when I selected a contractor.

Better Or Worse - Wright and his team communicate very well and their record keeping and invoices are organized in an easy to follow manner. The weekly meetings are very beneficial.

Recognized Excellence - Brian did a great job of managing the project. He went above and beyond on multiple occasions to make sure something was done correctly, even if it meant repeating a process. Wright has a customer is usually right mentality even in instances where he may not necessarily agree.

Our project came in on time and on budget, and we are thrilled with our new space and the quality of the work. Living through the renovation was definitely doable with Revival at the helm. I trust Wright Marshall and his team to do it right all the way around, and we have already referred them to neighbors with the utmost confidence that they will have the same experience. This was our first renovation experience, but I truly cannot imagine working with a contractor you did not trust. We will definitely use Revival again whenever we get to "phase II" of our plans for our home.

I would rate statement #12 with a score of 3.5. I think Revival Construction is incredibly expensive. Their high pricing is what will keep me from coming back.
