The presentation and demonstration of the GAF roofing system was outstanding too bad the quality of work does not compare. I chose this company to do the roofing job because of the presentation and perceived more professional job. First off Power does not actually have their own installers they subcontract to another installer. They show in there videos how they cover and protect your house so it will not be damaged when removing the old roof. This did not happen which led to numerous things like the railing on my front porch and back deck as well as my 1 yr old white vinyl fence, external Central AC unit getting scuffed up and asphalt roofing residue being left behind. Initially they attempted to improperly install the wrong skylight, even when I pointed out it was the wrong skylight and they were not even installing IAW Velux standards they continued to install and shingle the roof. They did not install weather-watch ice and water dam around all roof vents like they showed in there video during sales. They put down blue roof deck protection over a whole in the roof where an old roof vent was located without putting a piece of plywood over the whole and then proceeded to put the shingles down. If they had not caused my Central AC to stop working by puncturing the copper tubing I may have never realized they shingled over a open whole in my roof if I didn't go in my attic. They also do not put ice and water barrier on the crown or hips of the roof as shown during the presentation. In some places they did not even use the GAF Blue roof deck protection they used a less expensive GAF product called Tiger Paw. Power also stated I would have to do minor interior repairs after the replacement of the skylight. The new Sky light is approximately 2 inches smaller in width and height. Because of this my minor interior repairs are going to be quite extensive. By the way they did apologize for this but that does not get the interior fixed, so now I will have to hire someone to repair. They stated they would protect my existing gutters by using bumpers to minimize damage. No bumpers were used as promised and the gutter looks terrible where they took all the material up onto the roof. I should have realized there was an issue when they had me sign a waiver for damage to the gutters before starting the job. In one instance I watched the work group bounce the ladder on my gutters I would not call this damage incidental. The project manager and Quality assurance were very nice and apologized profusely over what happened during installation. I am not even sure if GAF was to inspect the job whether it would be up to standard to honor the warranty. I was very impressed by what Power claimed they were going to do for the job that is why I did not mind paying more for the service to bad they did not live up to the presentation.
Had gutters replaced and they have been to my house 4 times and are scheduled for another attempt to fix what they did on 11/4. On the 2nd to last visit the project manager admitted they missed a measurement and he would come back and see what he could do to fix. 2 weeks later he still hadnt shown so i called warranty and they said the same thing, not sure what happened but sent another project manager. He fixed the easy problem-which I should have just done myself but not after all this trouble-the other issue where the gutter hung to low to open the door he gave a quick solution of replacing or relocating my door-really?? thats the answer?? Now they are going to come back and cut out the part they measured wrong an replace with some that in his words will not look asthetically nice but functional. Can you just imagine how ridiculous this will look. To think i was having them reside my house next April......not now.
The project was completed quickly, on time and neatly.
The team was very knowledgable and professional.
I have been very happy with the service I recieved. With the weather getting cooler, we can tell the difference of old vs new.
From start to finish, including the sales process to the execution of the job and where they made sure everything was clean; I couldn't have asked for better service. They were outstanding. They were, overall, really good.
People need to check to make sure what they order is the same thing they receive. Beware of what you are getting.

It was an easy process and a quality product.
The crew we had was utterly fantastic in everyway! Friendly, excellent communication, and very hard workers. They were awesome, we will only use them for now on.
I love my windows, they are very nice!
Power Home Remodeling Group was highly professional from start to finish. They may not be the cheapest but the product is excellent and the service is exceptional.
They seem to do good work. I won't know the results for 25 years and we were satisfied.
Everyone was great.
Very disappointed with my front door and the way things were explained to me. Left with an irregular sized door frame that needs to re done so that I can get a storm door. When you spend over $3000, you expect more
Good job. There were many components to be done on our house and they handled it very well.
the explanation of what needs to be done was clear.
There was a lack of communication and questions about the final product were never answered.
Casey - our apologies for any communication difficulties on our end during your project. I looked into your profile and while I'm glad the installation went well, I'll definitely make sure we use this as an opportunity to improve. If you have any questions that still haven't been answered, please feel free to call our Warranty Service Department at 888.REMODEL, option 3 at the prompt. They'll be more than happy to help you with any questions or concerns. - Ray Lodato, Director of Digital Communications, Power Home Remodeling Group.
They did very timely work. They worked around our schedule. When they said they were going to be here they were there.
Sales reps were thorough and knowledgeable. Not a crazy, hard sell, but methodical and honest. Installation guys had a few challenges as this is an old house, (1890's) but they did the best they could. The company was unable to meet my needs of replacing some rounded windows, and that was a disappointment but the ones they put in were just what they said they would be. Looking forward to lower heating bills, hopefully.
Very high quality door with high quality service.
