Scope of Work
We generally accept a project as small as a 1/2 bath to a project as large tear down and rebuild. We are a design build company with experienced designers, carpenters and a production team that can take on projects that consist of bathrooms, kitchens, sunrooms, decks and additions.
Typical Workload
We typically have 10 open projects at one time. We subcontract only 25% of our volume.

Mike, our lead carpenter, was great. He was very timely. I was very pleased with his performance and punctuality. He was very self motivated. He had good initiative and did his job well-he had high quality work standards. He managed the subcontractors for the plumbing and the electric so we didn't have to do anything. We trusted our carpenter with the whole project and he managed the project well.

My husband and I first used Foster Remodeling 15 years ago, when we built an office onto our home, We built "up" and not "out," and the result was a new addition that, together with Foster, were able to ensure that it looked "organic" to the house, not a tack-on addition.When it was time to update and remodel our kitchen and breakfast room, I thought of no one but Foster. I even asked for the same master carpenter from 15 years ago, and got him! Because we our own company and have a home office (as above, built by Foster), I was here every day to watch the "demolition" and the building, and was regularly consulted on how I thought things were going, small details not included in our original plan, etc. At first I thought the entire project was a little pricey, but watching it happen, the quality of the materials and workmanship, we think it was a real bargain. It is absolutely beautiful, increased the value of our home by more than what we spent, and was a wonderful addition to our lifestyle.I would recommend David Foster and his team to anyone who wants to improve their home.

I gave Foster Remodeling Solutions a small "trial project" this summer related to a bathroom remodel. I had a positive experience, so I decided to go with them on a very complex project that affected every floor of my home, to include load bearing structures. They did excellent work in timely fashion, were transparent in their billing practices, and even accomodated special requests along the way. I give them my highest recommendation and am confident that I will seek them out again for my next big project.
The Foster team was professional, courteous, and timely from design to build. My recent Foster remodel transformed my finished basement. I'm so pleased and confident with their work that I am already working with them again to remodel two more bathrooms in my house.
Foster's approach was careful and thorough. They explained each step, made their recommendations, and followed our decisions. I believe their tag line is "our process makes it perfect," and they have a very thorough and deliberate process that has lead twice in the last year to two separate projects that have been done completely to our satisfaction.
This was the second project they completed for us this year. We liked them the first time and had them come back. We asked for the same lead work crew and they accommodated us with that. We were very satisfied with their workmanship and attitude. The lead carpenter was very thorough in explaining what he was encountering and how he would resolve it.
There was not much of a punchlist because it was done so well the first time. David Foster did not personally do the work, but he did personally inspect the work while it was in progress and he made some judgement for the improvement of the appearance and quality of the work as it was proceeding. He took a personal interest in the project and he discussed with the lead carpenter how a particular aspect of it should be finished.
We are very pleased with our remodeled kitchen. We were kept informed throughout the process about any issues that arose and they were dealt with effectively. We will definitely consider using Foster Remodeling in the future.

Foster Remodeling Solutions just completed a bathroom remodeling, one of several large projects the company has done for us. Their process from initial consultation to completion has always been as they advertise. We always knew "what, when, and where" through out the projects. Any additions or changes we wanted were discussed from all aspects before they were incorporated into the plans. The experience and skill of their lead carpenters is very obvious by their work ethic and the quality of workmanship. The completed jobs show this.

Foster's provided a very comprehensive project planning stage for which we were very grateful not having executed a project of this size in our home in the past. While the extensive planning took several months, the time was well spent as the execution of the project was nearly flawless. We are exceedingly happy with this contracting agency.
FRS built a 1750 sq. ft. two-story addition to my home in 2003-4; since that time we have had them return for two other large projects. We have felt lucky that we found them as our builder... the staff, from sales to clean-up, have been experienced, professional and courteous. Projects have been within budget and always on time; no hidden costs and no extra time to reorder a part that was incorrect. I would recommend them without reservation to anyone looking for a reliable contractor.
It has been a fabulous experience. I was afraid of doing something like this before but after what I went through I would do it all over again in a heart beat. It was just wonderful. I have already recommended them to many of my friends.

As with most people I am worried about getting quality work and good value for my money, especially when you are a single mom with two kids. My project was a new kitchen which also moved walls and changed the purpose of rooms in my house. The results were amazing and everyday when I come in the house I have to pinch myself and say "Is this really mine?".The craftsmenship on this project iwas amazing. It doesn't take much knowledge to hang a cabinet; what takes experience is making everything level and square in a 40+ year old house. We just completed a family room renovation with Foster Remodeling. Over the years, Foster has also remodeled our kitchen, guest bathroom and basement. They replaced all doors and windows, built a master suite closet and added a sunroom. This most recent project, like all others, was completed without any problems. The Foster way of planning for a project is very effective and prevents disputes from erupting along the way. The cost you pay is the cost in the contract. No surprises along the way. And, our salesman, Chris Arnold, worked with us during the design phase to ensure that we thought through the many options available so that we ended up with the results we were looking for. He is patient and extremely professional and thorough. We had a different lead carpenter on each project and each one has been respectful, hard working, communicative and a master at the details. We highly, highly recommend Foster!

Homebuilders, remodelers, real estate developers and home services companies pay GuildQuality for customer surveying and performance reporting. We refer to these companies as GuildQuality Members, Guildmembers, or members.
Our service helps Guildmembers monitor customer satisfaction and -- if they choose to publish survey feedback on our public website at guildquality.com -- articulate the quality of their service for prospective customers.
All of the Guildmember information we publish at guildquality.com has been provided to us either by the member (such as pictures of work and biographical information) or by their customers via one of our surveys (customer comments, performance summaries, and reviews).
All of the customer feedback that we publish is derived from the customers we survey. Our Guildmembers provide us with their customers' contact information, we conduct the surveys, they receive the feedback, and -- if they have chosen to make their feedback public -- the member's performance report is automatically updated to reflect the response. Members may choose to publish a summary of either all of their feedback or their most recent twelve months of feedback.
In addition to average performance ratings and survey statistics, GuildQuality also publishes two types of customer commentary: Comments and Reviews.
A comment has been provided by a survey respondent in response to any one of the survey questions we ask, and a member may or may not choose to publish it. Often customers provide unsolicited testimonials or compliments, and members can choose to share these comments in their published performance report.
Many Guildmembers choose to participate in our formal review process. These members have added an additional question on their survey: "If you'd like to provide a public review of your experience working with the Guildmember, please share it here." In contrast to comments, which a member selects to have published, we publish all reviews, provided they are at least 30 words long. With each review, we include a one to five star rating provided by the survey respondent.
