Foster Remodeling is fantastic! I dreaded our addition because I was afraid of the disruption to our lives and the dirt and mess construction can be. Instead, I was delighted to find that Foster staff were totally professional, and a pleasure to see everyday - we all had separation anxiety when Jack was no longer coming at 7 a.m. to our house! (The dogs were even depressed.) The job site was immaculate - things were always all cleaned up each day and our lives were not disrupted in the least. We run a small business, which keeps us both really busy - David and Jack were so accommodating of our crazy schedules. I can't say enough about how well our project went!

Foster Remodeling demonstrates that is a cut above the rest of the remodeling companies in the Fairfax area. Once you become their client, you have gained access to the expertise of their experienced architect, designer and craftsmen. Having never gone through a remodel, I was doubting my choices and wondering if they would all work well together. From the start, Sarah grasped the plan I had in my head and worked with me to make my kitchen be the dreamed about center of our home. She was able to advise me on colors, materials and cabinet design without taking over, making my decisions that much more solid. I was grateful for, and valued, her comments and suggestions. If you are lucky enough to have Marco as your lead contractor, you will have no worries about your project at all. He is a master craftsman of every aspect of construction. He arranged and supervised all subcontractors, and would have them fix anything that did not measure up to his high standards. If ever there was a perfect place for a perfectionist, this is it. He made sure everything was absolutely perfect before he was satisfied, which left me confident that the job would be done right. And it was! My kitchen is a beautiful new addition to our home and I smile every time I walk in the door. Thanks to the Foster team for a job well done.
Although I had specific ideas in designing my new kitchen, I had never done it before and realized I needed guidance. Sarah listened to what I had in mind and advised me in my selections, bringing her considerable experience and "designer eye" to our discussions. I was concerned that she would have her own ideas and railroad my plans but that was never the case. I felt like she saw my vision and we truly worked as a team to make it turn out better than my original plan!
Greg and Marco had our kitchen remodeling organized before they even started the demolition. What a relief to have someone who "speaks the language" of construction deal with the necessary permits and all the subcontractors involved in our project. They had everything flowing smoothly and efficiently from start to finish.
Our experience of having a 17KW Generac generator installed at our home was pleasant and rewarding, and educational. The electrician was completely experienced, patient, particular, and efficient wasting no time. When a slight difference of opinion ocurred during the gas inspection, the production manager, Greg Miller, saw to it that it was corrected quickly, while he was on vacation out of state. That's dedication. He has since worked with us making sure we understand the system. David Foster as well has been available anytime of the day we have called. It is interesting that Suzanne was the only one specified by name in the survey. The project manager, Greg, and the lead contractor who was marshaling all the subcontractors, Marco, were both incredible. They were great staff, great people, and they all have a sense of what their role is.
