Replaced Deck and created and installed a door wall to the deck.

Incredibly pleased with our new deck from C&L Ward. Every step of the process, from initial meeting and quote with salesperson, correspondence with the project manager and work by the crew, went smoothly. Any minor issues were communicated exceptionally well and all of the work was top notch. Would highly recommend this company for anyone looking for great service and craftsmanship at a fair price.

Communication could have been better. Took 4 months to get it done. Didn't expect that.

The main pools were put in wrong 2 feet away from where they should be. No grading underneath the deck to make it look presentable, and this was started back in May and finished in October. No one overseas the workers as they are doing the project.

I think deck was built well . I just wish more time had been spent giving us different layout ideas

Due to delays and inconsistencies during the process, I would be hesitant to recommend C&L Ward.

We were promised a dedicated team to assist in the project, photos of the progress along the way, and expert installation by C&L Ward contractors. The office was disorganized and was not able to coordinate the work, we received no photos, and the roofing contractor did poor work requiring four return trips to rectify the situation. C&L technicians had to come out twice because the roofing contractor did not fix the issue.

Construction of window took longer than stated at ordering

The guys were all good and they cleaned up after themselves.

Lack of communication and dont follow your own schedule.

The windows that were ordered originally were the wrong size. After one window was installed, the installer brought up the issue and said the windows would have to be reordered.

It took nearly six months to complete my deck. Multiple phone calls for never returned. We had to work with four different project managers. Project got delayed due to a permit never being requested, even though we were told that C&L had the permanent. Which ended up being a lie. Material and dumpster placed in our driveway with nothing happening for nearly 2 weeks. Worst experience I’ve ever had with a contractor in my life.

They did an amazing job with our doors. The quality of the material and workmanship are second to none!

I will certainly recommend, but there were communication issues and delays through the project. Once I was able to talk directly with Matt things went better from my side....but there was a 3 week delay in the project. Additionally, the demo team disconnected my downspout and I needed to get something templory in place during the delay. The construction team built around the temporary hook up and needed to come back to finalize. They did come back and made it right which I appreciated.

Their management will not respond to me.

I don't think the manager did a very good job of communicating about the rework that needed to be done. He didn't return my phone calls and didn't acknowledge some things. I thought it was ridiculous after spending such an amount of money on the front porch. Another thing is that they came to the house three or four times to fix something that was simple.

I highly recommend C&L Ward. From the time we met, the salesperson at C&L Ward was friendly, informative, and thorough. He helped us decide which products would work best for our home. When we followed up with him with questions, he would come back and speak with us. He answered all of our questions and made it easy to order the products.

They said it would be done on August 7, and it did not get done until September 28th. I was not happy about that.

This was our third project with C&L Ward and they were good each time.
