Cl ward sales people are great I wouldn’t recommend to people I don’t like everything after sales was horrendous.
Hunter and Josh did a wonderful job with my window replacement. They explained everything they were doing, protected my deck and wood floors and shop vacuumed everywhere before they left.I would recommend their service again.
I found the lack of communication from my “project coordinator” frustrating. I worked with three different people. I recommend C&L develop a visual “road map” of what to expect throughout the project. Stage 1 - after sale, supplies will be ordered, there are X number of permits to obtain, you should expect to hear from us by X date, etc. Stage 2 - post holes are dug and require inspection before the build can start, etc.
Courteous and professional
Based on the the all the employees that were involved with my window project I would definitely recommend C&L Ward.
We were very satisfied from the sales rep, the customer service staff, the measure person and the installers who put our windows in.
A real person answers the phone! Pleasant people, on time and fair cost.
Extra effort to make sure new window casing matched rest of house trim
Knowledge and friendly.
They did a fine job!
They were not the lowest bid but I think they are worth the extra money. The windows are beautiful and the framing is high-quality.
They did a great job all around. We are very happy with the windows.
C & L Ward is the best company for any work you need done. First off the communication is outstanding. They are there when scheduled and they get right to work. They keep you informed all through the process and they clean up when finished. Absolutely no mess left behind. No complaints at all.
They are very professional and coordinate the entire project from start to finish, easy to contact and work with during the process.
The complete process went well and I definitely would recommend C&L Ward to a friend.
I believe that we now have a beautiful quality deck that we will enjoy for many years.
Excellent experience, end to end.
From the initial sales call to the final installation, everyone was helpful, professional and did what they said they were going to do. Highly recommend C&L Ward.
The quality of my windows, including the quietness from outside noise that wasn't present with my old windows, the excellent install team, and the preciseness of the measurements of each window, was superb. The team were polite and courteous and very respectful of my home in yard. The job site was cleaned up every day. It was clear they knew what they were doing! I had I an installer here to measure for blinds for my windows. He was absolutely amazed at the preciseness of the measurements on each window. He commented multiple times about it, and how quiet my house was given the activity outside. He also said you don't find this kind of accuracy and quality in new new home builds. This is my third time using C&L Ward, and i have been completely satisfied each time i'm placing the order, installation, follow up in customer service.
Everything went well from initial contact to end of project.
The best service and professional support I’ve received for any project I’ve signed a contract or service agreement for.
Your pricing is way overpriced. I received quotes for gutters and front door replacement and found gutter replacement for $10,000 less and exact same front door replacement for more than $3,000 less.
You may want to price more competitively to add business.
The communication was horrible. They were supposed to start on Monday 5/18, they no called and no showed. I had to call them to find out that they were still on their last job and would start the following day. The following day they called a rain day even though there was no rain at all that day. They again didn't show up on Wednesday, so I called again, and they claimed they were still finishing up the job from Monday, but would be there first thing Thursday 5/21. They showed up on Thursday at 8am but then left again by 9am without ever speaking to us or letting us know what was going on. I had to call for a 3rd time to find out what was going on, was informed that they attempted to start the work without the city inspector's approval, and the inspector needed to be there during the initial tear-off to see the decking materials below the shingles. I'm not sure why they didn't have everything scheduled with the inspector already as this delayed them another day until Friday 5/22. Once they did start, the crew worked that Friday from 8am until 1pm, and then the following Monday through Sunday, also only from 8am - 1pm every day.
This is not the first roof I've had replaced on houses I've owned, and what should have been a fairly straight forward 2ish day job, turned into over 2 weeks due to a couple of rain days that did happen during that timeframe.
They were very professional, and I did not have any problems.
While the quality of the work was amazing, communication up to that point was lacking.
We used C&L Ward for windows and have been pleased with the quality and workmanship, so when we needed a roof, that's who we gravitated to.
I would recommend based on the quality of installation and quality of Andersen windows. I would caution a potential buyer to be very sure that they have chosen windows and especially trim that replicates what they currently have.
Poor, frustrating experience
Overall, good experience, other than rain delay
I think C&L Ward did a very good job. I'd recommend them to anybody.
Prompt appts initially. I like the accountability using their own work teams and staff. Quality of work was stellar.
Everyone was professional, courteous and left the house clean.
I would not hesitate to recommend C&L Ward. If you want quality and an easy experience give them a call
The final product was high quality but it took two trips out to fix the issue with the original installation.
at the point we decided to change the outside color of the door, we were shown colors from a pamphlet brought to us by the men who came to take measurements, & C L Ward online website. when the door arrived, i said to myself, "i would never have chosen that color!" working with the manager, trying to resolve our issue, it became apparent that the colors in the pamphlet & the website do NOT match the color of paint chips we were shown by Freddie Armstead, who came to color match the door with his chips. his chip totally matched the door, however, the chip did NOT match the pamphlet or the websites color. it was noted in conversation with the manager that we had not signed a certain "color match" form, when we did the color change.
nothing resolved the issue of our door not being the same blue, as we were shown at the time we decided to change color.
The care and effort in attempting to rectify a mistake was way beyond what I would have expected.
I won’t recommend you. You took too long, used too much black sealer on j channels. I picked up nails in driveway and on patio. Shrub in frt of house was broken.
I have already recommended them to my mother.
Maybe my expectations were too high, but I believe we could have gotten the same quality installation from many other siding installers. Probably at a lower cost. My thinking was that C and L Ward was a premium installer. We were willing to pay for that.
The quality of the work and everyone we worked with from Ryan, Chad, Brittany and Justin and his crew and the person that installed our gutters, were professional, conscientious and super helpful!
At every stage, from the salesperson, to the schedulers, to the installers, everyone was professional, knowledgeble and good communicators.
Work ethic and quality
From the initial visit to the installation everything about our window project was professional and first class.
From start to finish, completely satisfied! Measurement, consultation, coordination, reminders, install crew, follow-up, etc. - all excellent!
Good service except installation later than expected. Winter put it off a bit
C&L Ward had very poor communciation throughout.
High pressure sales; job wasn't communicated well to subcontractor so parts needed redone; I was frustrated by the whole process, and I had to keep reminding them to fix things that we had already discussed. And the fixing/getting things done took awhile. 2 small things never got finished because I was over it. My roof does look good though and seems to be holding up well.
I'm very happy with C&L Ward. This is the second project they've completed for me and I would recommend them to anyone interested in getting the highest quality work done correctly at a fair price.
The salesman sells the product and an experience. I don't think that it was delivered by the technician.
Installation done very well, no mess, quality job.
