Stearns Design Build

Bringing Old-Fashioned Craftsmanship into a Modern Context

Our goal is to continually learn, improve and grow in our understanding and appreciation of craftsmanship, relationship and service. This pervasive sense of quality and attention to detail allows us to create spaces that honor the old and celebrate the new, in natural harmony with each other. We craft raw materials into beautiful projects that respect tradition, while providing a modern quality of life in balance with the natural environment.

Customer service is the hallmark of our business. Honesty, integrity, and craftsmanship are the pillars on which we rest our reputation. At the same time, we seek to make the process of building or remodeling a family's home fun and exciting.

Unlike other types of construction, our craft is not done on an impersonal job site; it is done in our clients' homes. It is an honor to be invited into a family's home to perform our work. We reflect that honor by creating highly individualized designs, giving uncompromising attention to detail, maintaining clean work areas and respectful attitudes, and keeping projects on schedule.

What is this?

What is this?

We display two types of written homeowner feedback on GuildQuality member profile pages: Comments and Reviews.

In response to our customer satisfaction surveys, homeowners share lots of comments about construction quality, communication, or any other question asked in the survey. Guildmembers can selectively publish these comments here on their profile page.

Reviews are different than comments. These are star ratings that homeowners ask us to publish, and they come with a written description of the type of experience they had working with their contractor. We publish all of the reviews we receive: positive and negative alike.
