They said they were going to start on January 14 and would be finished on the 23rd or something, and they did not finish until March. They had inadequate workers and did not do a good job. They had to call in because I don't think they had used these guys before, and there was not enough supervision. They just did a terrible job. Then, they called me and told me they were done and for me to pay my bill. I told them I have to go look first, and I asked my sales guy if he had been out to see it. He said, oh, I am going out. I said, well, tell me what you think and then we will be there this weekend. So, he never even went. Then, we went over the weekend, and we took all the photos, which I would be happy to share. So, then they were like, oh, yeah, oh. They had to call in their other crew, which I think is probably their only crew. They had to fix a bunch of things. Then, when they did that, it was okay, but there were still some problems that we are having. When they took out our last payment, they took out an extra $1,000. They said that was for a non-refundable permit? I said, well that permit is not my problem, that is your problem. The salesman called and said, well, I didn't even make any money on this, and so I am not responsible for that. I said, whoa, whoa, whoa, wait a minute. I told you at the very get-go to make sure you check everything, because they are persnickety out here. They don't want a trailer in the driveway, and you can't put material and leave it sitting out, and blah, blah. So, make sure you check. He told me, oh, no, this is in your backyard, so it doesn't apply. I said, I don't know. They yanked a roof company right off my roof and told them, cease and desist, until they did something, I don't know what. It wasn't my problem; it was theirs, and so they handled it and were back. He then tells me, well I can't absorb that $1,000. I didn't even do anything on your job. I told him, well, did anybody hold a gun to your head and tell you to quote what you quoted? I just didn't like the whole entire way they operated. I called the other day when I was adding up my payments, and I was like, wait a minute, they charged me $1,000! So, I wrote and said, hey, and I want to talk to Lisa, who is the production supervisor. She wouldn't call me back, and then I asked who Lisa's boss is. They said Chris, somebody. I said, well have him call me. He didn't call me. I was like, okay, so after I left another message and said, well, either I give a very, very honest review, or you call me back. They didn't, so this is my very honest review.
The whole experience has been terrific. We first contacted them at their booth at the Montgomery County Home & Garden show. Everyone has been very professional and quick to answer our questions. We are very pleased with our finished project
The contractor was very understanding to what we were trying to accomplish. He was very patient and was able to give us a beautiful product.
