My first interaction was with the sales representative Scott, who was respectful, knowledgeable, and available throughout the entire process. My second interaction was with the installation team who were professional, thorough and genuinely kind men. My last interaction was with The installation inspector Dan, who was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and troubleshot a huge tree limb, that could have broken through one of the brand new windows that I was unable to reach.

The installers were very dedicated to the job at hand and even worked in the rain and short storm that came thru during the job, they finished their job at hand in a timely manner and had the whole work area and my yard all up and cleaned. We were pleased with the original installation even though it was delayed a few months. However the follow up for service has not been the best experience.
On the day of the install, one installer showed up to replace 5 windows in my house. Three of them were just standard windows and not really my main concern. It is the 12x6 window in my living room and 4x6 window in my dinning room that leak air badly. After getting the three small windows installed and finished on the inside only does the installer tell me he is not going to be able to get the other two windows installed because he is by himself. I acknowledged what he said and he continued finishing the outside of the three windows. I called my salesman Scott, notified him of what happened and my unhappiness in the situation. He said he would try to get something done but it was after hours when he returned my call. I still have not heard back from him. I received a call from customer service on 2/16, told her of my situation and have not heard back since.
I feel like since you have your money I am on the back burner now. Now I will have to take another day off and my work schedule has become very busy to the point this could delay the install even longer. In my opinion, there should have been been installers back at my house the very next day to complete the install of my windows or a phone call at a minimum the next day but I have had to write two bad reviews and make two calls as to my install and still have no idea what is going on

sales person was ok, however the installers were terrible with customer service. I'm hopeful, the windows were installed correctly. Universal did send out a person to clean up. This isn't the first survey I have completed. An agent did call me relative to the survey. She said I would be receiving a 50 dollar amazon card, I haven't received the card. I called office inquiring about the card that person said I would be receiving the card. Still haven't received the card.
I don't generally recommend as a rule, so the fact that I'm willing to do so (and have shared your contact info) is higher than you might think. That number could raise if the product quality proves true over time.
The sales was great and an expert. But only the installers were above and exceeding expectations.

The running theme was over promise and under deliver. I’m happy to have the windows disappointed in the process and a bit disappointed by the final product.
If I were to do it again, I would have accepted the bid I got from sun windows instead.
