Overall satisfied with response and advice from Trident. We leased a new car recently and adding it to our auto policy and dropping coverage on a car we sold were easy and seamless. The staff I worked with on the phone were great.
I would like to feel as though someone at Trident is looking out for our best interests by reviewing our insurance periodically and reaching out to us with suggestions for how we might upgrade, consider other coverages, or find less expensive coverage, etc. I feel as though I always have to take the initiative; it does not feel like a partnership, which I would like to have with my insurance broker.

Poor customer service
I have to commend one agent specifically, Stephanie Brod! If Stephanie gives me info, I feel it’s the most accurate than any other agent that I spoke to with Trident and other insurance companies over the years.
She’s professional and a perfect blend of business, friendliness and overall customer service. Also, I feel with Stephanie she will compare my premium with other insurance companies thoroughly. I try to do my best to understand how the insurance industry works and that I’m insured enough.
On the flip side, we have a pending claim (deer into car) and it seems long for the claim approval and for repairs to begin . The adjuster should be updating us via email or returned calls promptly/regularly. This is disappointing. The shop owner is doing his best to update us and waiting on rep approval.
Everyone was friendly, the price was acceptable, and a positive recommendation from my agent Sharon was all I needed. A positive experience.

I am not able to access my account and it doesn’t seem to be able to be resolved. I am getting divorced and took my exs name off. I had my new user name and password and was able to log in. A glitch then occurred and put my exs user name and password back!!! I need this resolved ASAP.

I called to ask why my raes jumped up 97% YOY and before I was even asked my name, I was told that rates simply went up. It was as if the person I was speaking with just didn’t want to look into anything at all. They just were hoping a quick generic response would be enough to satisfy me. I went ten minutes later to a local insurance agent who then saved me just under $4000 for better coverages all around on my auto and home. Zero customer service is why I will never come back as a customer

I called trident because I was shopping for cheaper insurance. Hartford had me signed up so fast I didn’t know what happened! I had trident check out insurance for me when I bought my house. They recommended Progressive. I called trident to see if there was anything out there cheaper. Listen to this-the receiver of the call sent a message to the broker and said I needed it the next day (I requested that). And the broker called me the next day to tell me Progressive was still the best. This blew my mind that she would get it for me the next day! I was so happy to work with trident because of all of this!
