Worked quickly and didn’t have to wait weeks to get roof completed

Share with your customers you are a roofing broker. Your employees do not do the work. You sub-contract.

The 3rd Estimate did the first half of the house OK. They then finished in a hurry so they only had to spend 1 day at the house and maximize their profit without consideration of the quality of installation on the last half. They say they can't retrieve previous versions of their contracts and changed the quality of the materials. They have not come back after 8 months (yet) to fix damage they caused (crew used gutter as a step and now major damage) and they did not replace wood where there were holes, yet charged for the wood and did not install shingles properly on 2nd half of the work so that shingles are sill bowed and lifting. They performed low quality work on this bigger project, and have not accepted responsibility repairing the poor installation and damage they caused. They did remunerate me for other damage to the yard and a tree they specifically caused but I had to perform the repairs.

I would recommend 3rd Estimate, but advise others of some of the issues I had. I may hire 3rd Estimate again myself, but would require some things be addressed.

Im sorry, but I’m tired of picking up nails in my yard. It’s been months since my roof was done. And I continue to get handfuls of nails in my backyard, front yard and driveway. My dog actually had brought two in the house. My granddaughter can’t be barefoot in my yard. If I kept every nail I’ve picked up, I could re- roof the house again.

Lack of communication. Lack of professionalism during installation. Sub par quality of work performed.

Your company is a nightmare to deal with. I will never use your services again and I will make sure others are very aware of the experience I had. A happy customer tells 3 people about their experience, an unhappy one tells 10.

Completely disorganized, lack of communication, and knowledge

Communication regarding install and what work was completed. The installers were fast and left the site clean.

Lot of issues including multiple initial installation problems, water leaks after install, and it took well over a year to mitigate repairs.

The process was very complicated for me and my family. There was very poor communication and overall management of the project. Some of the contractors were extremely rude and disrespectful to my family and my property.

Multiple issues including nails left in driveway and yard, soffit under porch roof damaged, brickwork on porch damaged, concrete cracked. Soffit issue resolved but it should never have happened in the first place. Unresolved issues include, but not limited to shingles not laying flat, gaps in shingles where the nailing strip is visible, and shingles not adhering to one another.
