The director listened to my complaint about the lifeguard not enforcing no wrestling and horseplay in the swimming pool. Thanks for making those members behave in the swimming pool.

This Y has the right stuff & a Great staff.

Overall floor space in the gym is tight in the offseason. When those garage doors are open it's great!

It is a very safe place to go and they have a variety of choices for your workout.

In fact, I have already recommended you to a friend, and my husband is aware of the YMCA but is unlikely to use it. I’m sure it was a financial decision, but I really wish that Shelton YMCA had an actual indoor pool that felt like an indoor pool and it was not square but had lap swimming. It can be really cold. Going from the women’s bathroom to the pool and back after one has had a shower. It would be nice if there was the option to at least have a hot tub or sauna afterwards to help warm up. I’m not sure where that could go but both in the Aberdeen YMCA are well used. That is the reason I did not give you a 10 out of 10.

I signed up for the membership. Had to wait a week for them to give me the introduction on the facility. The day of the appointment you guys called and canceled, I asked twice for another appointment. And it's been only 8 months and still don't have it. I even emailed the manager directly. No response.

Great staff, wonderful classes

The facility is beautiful! The balance class offered by Cheryl Weeks (?) is fantastic.

Really like and appreciate feeling and approach at the Shelton Y. I like the group classes, good to see so many older members there—something for everyone and each class has a feel of community!

The facility is lacking a adult pool for lap swims and also no sauna or steam room. Not much to offer seniors and the elderly.

The space is clean and welcoming. Easy access to equipment.

The Shelton YMCA is a wonderful place for health and wellness. Great classes with friendly and knowledgeable staff!

I wish the pool was open when the Y is open in the morning.

Everyone is so helpful and friendly. One thing that I personally do not care for is a life guard that wears pajama pants on the job. Very unprofessional.
